Good Luck Dee's, just not the round 1.
5AA saying "it looks like the CROWS open up at home against the Demons, and finish on the road against the Blues..

What a massive challenge that would be first up. Aami Stadium.

Bring it on, if correct.:thumbsu:

Hopefully this is true. I've been waiting for us to get an interstate game out of the way early instead of having them clustered together later in the season and playing in Melbourne for the first 7 or so games - I wasn't expecting one first up though I must admit.

AAMI first up against the Crows is our worst nightmare but a great game to put behind us. When you consider we lose more often than not in our first 3 games while finding our feet then the damage isn't as significant this way. Also there is the off chance Crows might not take off running either.

Perfect opener. Boys will be pumped after the past few bad starts. Hopefully the Crows don't find their feet in the NAB CUP. Could meet the Crows a few times next year with them trying to get back into those 7th-8th spots with us.

it will all be about damage limitation, hopefully we wont be the first team to be placed 17th...

Will be a bonus if we play there round 1 and avoid playing port there all together...

though if we win, i'll back us for the flag hahahaha...........

This time though, we will have our 2 secret weapons:

Disappointing that we'll be going interstate in round 1. Nothing better than heading to the G' after a long summer.

Oh well, maybe I'll make this my first trip to AAMI.

Lovin you some Chuck Norris hey AJ13?

Can't say I feel any different...

Oh, and I think this would be good for us. Firstly as has been said, get this stinking fixture out of the way early. Secondly, starting the season off with a loss isn't new to us at all. And thirdly, if the boys can get up, it'd be a fantastic way to start the season.

We haven't won at AAMI Stadium since 2001.

We haven't won a Round 1 match since 2005.

It could be ugly.

Two negatives might make it a positive. Crack two curses in one session? ;)

We could win.

It's actually the best time to go over to AAMI, in that everyone will be fresh and neither team will have developed any consistency. As such, we might be able to catch Adelaide out, but it's a big might.

We will win.

Agree with the sentiment.

Comrades, if true, we can sook about going to Bogan Stadium to play the West Horsham Crowbots, or we can say – “great stuff; as a club we are really looking forward to it and we are going to nail their grotty West End arses to the wall!”

Things will never change unless we throw out the old mentality. And when we win, it will be huge.

This game will be the beginning of the end for Neil Craig's coaching career. Similar to how we dismantled Terry Wallace. And Matty Knights.
