I think other local footballers will be happy with this aswell..

Don't complain about Sunday games. It's because we had a shizen year and wasted many of our prime time slots.

I'd be focusing on the positives... it's a better fixture than last year regarding who the Dons play...

play Geelong, St Kilda, Freo and Hawthorn only once...

only top 4 teams that Dons play twice are Dogs and Pies (always play collingwood twice anyway)

travel 5 times, which is the same as the last few years, pretty good deal

Play the 16th and 15th teams, Tigers and Eagles, twice.

Got the byes in good stages of the year, rnd 10 and 24... and our last game is against PORT at Etihad!

I'll admit though, when it comes to going to the footy, it isn't the friendliest fixture, however, still think they got a bloody decent fixture considering finished 14th.

I wouldn't mind a competitive effort at games in Melbourne as well.. And not just when we play the Saints, Blues, Hawks, but against EVERY team, especially Brisbane, West Coast and Melbourne to make up for last year.
