I agree. Lets face it. Didak doesnt like putting his head over the ball that much. Great outside player. So he will get exposed in the wet.

Pfff, Didak's one of the best wet weather players I've seen. Sure he's out of touch this year, but his wet weather play is magnificient because he has one touch hands. That's why Daisy is so good in the wet also.

Don't think anyone's disputing Dids' talent or ability to turn it on in the wet, the issue is his reluctance to tackle this year, more so than usual.

Kinda torn about this but wouldn't be too unhappy to see the Sack as a late in.

Are we all convinced that both Jolly and Reid will play given the emergencies- Wood and Goldsack?
the Sack is the perfect emergency since he can play anywhere, has height speed and agility. But have to agree re Wood - which is what we'd expect since Jolly is in most doubt.

Very finely balanced decision - both Jolly and Wood are quite big risks in their own ways. If there's any doubt on Jolly's ability to play it out, I'd go for Wood - has been stronger this year and hopefully would be inspired to previously unknown toughness. It's possibly the safer option since at least he can contest well in the ruck which is his main job and at least apply some pressure around the ground, and possibly take a few marks. That's balanced by Jolly's role as an extra defender which he's done well this year and Wood might not carry off too well - but that might not be so important in the wet anyway - Jolly may be most important as a physical presence around stoppages than anything else, which Wood can't match. I wouldn't want to have to make the decision.
