Never heard of this Rowe guy, but can't complain with the selection. If we didn't think there was a kid worth drafting at 44 in a weak year, why not take the mature guy. We'll know exactly what he can bring to the table for us, similar to another mature age we got last year...

Another mature age (24 i think) player from Norwood. Key forward/ruckman.
It seems he might be more forward than ruck, but I have to wonder if we are overdoing the insurance a little.
You don't recruit mature aged players unless you expect them to play in the seniors quickly. With Warnock and Kreuzer in the team, we were going to struggle to play Hammer unless he became a full forward exclusively. Now Hammer, Rowe and Mitchell will be competing for that spot.
We really got beat up in a couple of games where we went in undersized this year. We certainly have tall depth now I guess.
