I haven't put much on them, but I've backed the Hawks at home a few times recently and they've let me down big time, so maybe a bit of revenge in this bet.
Talent wise, I still think the Eagles have the edge here, by a decent margin, but the Hawks at home prior to the last month or so have been tough.

Last 13 starts (11 w/Car , 2 w/Cleve)
10 TD , 25 int , 9 fumbles
I know stats aren't everything but ouch. Suppose the only good thing is that nearly hald those ints were from just 3 games.
Hopefully Yates has had a chance to learn a bit more this week because we looked very average 2nd half against injury depleted Jags' D.

The Eagles of 2011 must go down in history as the most disappointing team of the season. Sure there's team that are worse than the Eagles, but none of them were rated as highly as the Eagles were at the start of the season.

It happens every year and usually involves one of the big market East Coast teams (or Dallas). It's got more to do with the press rather than anything else. The Jets are regularly hyped during the pre-season, as well as the Patriots and I think its got a lot to do with the press focussing on individuals rather than the team as a whole. The press regularly ignore the fact that teams with a high turnover of staff regularly disappoint.
