Give an extra .5 seconds for the Vikings D-Line to get to you? Good luck Tebow, easily Vikings all the way.
(Of course I will check Vikings injury list before locking in my tips).
I'd love to see Jared Allen get fired up and tearing into the Broncos backfield.
Then we'd see if God is really on Tebow's side.
Not sure I'd be so confident gg of a Vikings win. They still need to score and the Broncos D has been playing well. It's them winning games not TT.
I think it will be close, but I can't see the Vikings putting up points on that D. Turnovers and a short field might help if the Vikings D can force it, but I'm not optimistic.
Sorry, Primetime, about your money, Giants will beat Packers.
Isn't that true over everything in the NFC East though? Both good and bad.Actually, the pre-season hype for the Eagles is massively overstated.
my upsets for the week...
seahawks (right), colts, giants, browns, bengals, vikings, jaguars.
don't expect them all to happen, but i think those will be the games where the upsets will come from.
Didn't i hear that when i backed Philly against the Giants?
There is no way NYG get close to the Packers. I know Hawk and Bishop are out. The Giants cant get to the QB atm so if Rodgers has that much time to throw well its going to be messy.
I'm surprised you don't have the Lions in that list gg.
Saints often lose on the back of a shellacking (see Rams game). Our D is porous at the best of times but even more so when the O is playing well. The Lions are capable of matching us in a shootout, so if their D plays well and keeps our O in check, this is a game we could lose. Monday night let downs are common too (although having the game moved to Sunday night probably lessons that).
Must say I'm concerned on this one.
Primetime...
Difference tho was you were tipping the upset and people scoffed backing the favorite.
This time you've gone soft taking the Goliath![]()
![]()
Yep. Giants are done and the players know it.
Packers will win this by at least 2-3 TD's.
Saints are going to absolutely annihilate the Lions. The Lions are done. They were done many weeks ago, once it became evident they got lucky early on, able to win all those games they should've lost, down by 20+ at the half, that the bad teams choked letting them back in. Over the last month or so, the Lions are who we suspected they were.
And don't forget the Vick hype.
The "he's a changed man", "becoming a pocket passer", etc stories were coming from inside & out.
Again I'll blow my on trumpet on that one . . . I've seen it all before.
What did old man Nora call him again . . . "a coach killer" . . . was that on the money or what?![]()
Goliath? what are you talking about? Green Bay are going under the radar
Yep. I am a bit worried though about the other 2 teams i backed in the Falcons and Jets. Not sure if Turner will play but the fact a 3rd string QB is starting for Houston i have to take Atlanta and you dont know what you will get with the Jets but they are better then Washington.
It's not so much the Lions that worry me . . . it's us.
These are the sort of games we lose, regardless of the opposition.
The NFL did us a favor moving the game though. Had it been a 1pm start I'd be more concerned.
For someone quick to call out others, you sure took your time getting to this threadActually, the pre-season hype for the Eagles is massively overstated. We werent even close to being superbowl favourites.
We obviously got attention we didnt deserve based upon our free agency strategy, and Vince Young's stupidity. Lets not conflate that with us being overwhelming lay downs for the Lombardi.
Don't worry, JD. Saints and Brees this time of year, they're heading into the home stretch in preparation of the playoffs. They'll be bit by bit shifting into higher gears. Normally, they'd be like 10-2 and NOW would lose a few, play a bit scratchy. But this year they've had a rougher time thru the first half of the season, and so working towards that high-standard playoff consistency by the time playoffs start.
