Plenty of teams this year have found ways to blow games. Far more than the Saints this year. Honestly, not something to worry about with the Saints. Sure, they could go right out and blow it this week but the Saints aren't in recent history a team that has a reputation for that. Raiders this year, for instance, every single game we've won has been by I think 10 pts or less, and many of those games we held half-time command then found ways to almost lose. And we did lose in that fashion to the Bills early too. That's something I'd be far more worried about as a Raiders fan than a Saints fan.

I will admit it's hard to find exactly where the Giants will beat the Packers. But I'm 2CR confident anyway that the Packers are due for a loss, and that the Giants are this type of team that loses a couple in a row to meh teams but then comes out and can beat a Patriots/Packers type of team.

I kept hearing that last week and look how that played out.

Really, their effort was pathetic last week. The shit Jacobs pulled after the TD run was symptematic of a team not playing for the team.

That's the sort of officiating that drives me insane. Officiating to keep the game 'entertaining' rather than officiating with any integrity.

That's a whole other issue -- terrible officiating AND disgraceful NFL on-field fining and consistency/inconsistency of fining. The current rules are pathetic, coaches and players are confused, officials are all over the shop with their judgments, and often pissing the coaches off with lack of explanations etc.

Truly, a new commish would be the answer to all this.

They stuffed up the AFL and the NFL are doing their best to screw that game up too. Just about fell off my chair when I heard Demetriou praising West Sydney for trying to rort the cap. Goodell isn't quite that bad but he's heading in that direction.

Unfortunately I'll be in meetings while tomorrow's game is on. The downside of moving games into prime time.

If I can sleep early, good chance I can wake up early to watch the Raiders-Dolphins game, but would miss the end and the rest of the games. Gamepass ftw. Might just watch it 'live' not knowing the score when i get back at night, like i did last week. It was stressful!

I'll probably watch the ATL/HOU game & NFL Redzone before heading off to the office. Was hoping to be trialling the new version of the site but another death in the family has sent the past few days into chaos again.

Seriously, can people stop ****ing dying for 5 minutes? I hate to sound callous but this year it's been one after the the other. In the past 6 months there's been at least 10 in the extended family and people close to the family. Enough already!!

This week it will be off to Sydney for another funeral.

I know you're talking NFL, but this week is the biggest point Spread I've ever seen Vegas put up.

-49.0, I'm sure there's been higher though, but I havn't seen one.

When I was in Vegas last monh, UNLV were -56.5 against Boise State in College Football, again not NFL I know, but one heck of a start.
