Presidents Lunch was a ripper. Didn't get to meet Axewell nor el Presidente, but a few quality yarns with Stephen Curry (Dale Kerrigan) will suffice. Thought he was a Geelong supporter, on the back of something he did on telly years ago, but he's as black and white as they come.

Well, home now and I have to say very disappointed.

There was probably less than half the players even there... There were some apologies due to media commitments e.g. Maxwell (fair enough) and a couple of the boys apparently have the flu (Pendles very bad apparently). Also none of the Arizona bound boys were there.

They read out a huge list of players that wouldn't be attending, but Didak wasn't on the list, so was getting excited, then when the players came in, he didn't show up.

There was a couple of 5 min interviews with Daisy & Clokey, then Luke Ball, then a couple of youngsters in Stubbs and Seedsman.

Got to get Chris Tarrant's autograph on Mrs Muzzy's jumper so that will earn me some brownie points, but all in all, a really big letdown.

I'll be emailing the club at my disapointment, and quite frankly would've been ten times more aggrieved if, like a couple of people on our table, I had forked out the whole $2.5 Grand personally.

Many things our club does well, but this wasn't one of them...

Hi David,

The majority of these items have been signed by the boys this morning at a designated signing session, so now I just need to go through them all to sort them and work out any which still need signing.

As a result of this, I hope to have all which have been signed sent out by the end of this week or early next week at the latest.

Any which still require signing I will arrange with our Football Dept and get them sent out ASAP.
