Just outa curiosity, how will Lower be a whipping boy if he doesn't get a debut?

AFL debut, not Freo debut.

Of course I think Griffin, Anthony and Lower will play AFL but all have played at other clubs.

And I think a lot will be expected of Lower, and he doesn't always make the best decisions thus I think he will cop his fair share.

Firstly, Nat Fyfe will shake it off like a fly and secondly, I don't think that's Matt DeBoers style. He's the toughest player I've seen and will always be fearless at the ball. He doesn't have to hit anyone or start any fights to prove to the AFL how tough he is unlike a few.
