I have a guy doing exactly the same to me in Fantasy Premier League. He's first, I'm second, with a gap of about a week's worth of scores, and he seems to copy every trade I make, so I just have to hope he ****s up his team selection or my trade-ins fire straight away. Might work, but a dangerous route to take if you wind up copying bad trades, missing rookies or ignoring your own sound judgement.

I have my own reasoning which doesnt really pass your current Supercoach reasoning. It is based on our match race situation and not overall supercoach honours.

To the reason...gulp!

You have too many cash cows over me so i needed to address that. When it comes time to upgrade to premiums, you will have a decent jump on me with Curnow and Savage...you have my other ones covered, and I cant use the GC ruck as I need him as cover as I havent got petrie (may sideways him in though).

If I didnt bring in Harris...that would make 3 significant cash cow advantages you would have over me...I didnt like it...plus I knew you would offset me with Tapscott/Heppell killing my advantages there. I also made the decision that Harris is just too great a backup/sub option for my team for the entire season. I only think this after seeing him 3 weeks in a row.

Lower had to go to give me the cash for Harris. When lower was dropped (I considered him poor JS), i sacrificed him. I admit, this may come back to bite me but i hates the fact that I was down Curnow, Harris and Savage. It just looked armageddon come upgrade time.

I made the changes for balance and have made the call that 4 trades could be used to correct team balance.

I'm happy with my decisions and where I sit against you. Sideways trading for Swan was def worth it for my first two trades. I also took into account you have used trades for JB, Tappy and thought you may go for a Heppel trade and cut your losses. Means, on a trade scale, i wouldn't be far behind.

As for the next few weeks, I'll be eyeing off Reiwoldt and Broughton as my first two upgrade targets...

^^^Suban's injury may be the lucky break (no pun intended) for Lower.

I had a pretty avg week and rose just 22 spots scoring 2292 and moving to 577th overall.

YSCC Div 1 public league held onto the no.1 league spot. Super effort there :thumbsu: Good to see some competition from tooserious this week moving into the no.2 spot. If we were to lose to any1 i would hope it was them.

Seems like SCE 1 had a poor week dropping from 2nd to 8th overall despite impromptu's big score.

We did. Impromptu is not in SCE 1 though.

Agreed - that injury hurts. I'm just hoping there are a few others on the way back for Freo that might still push Lower out...i doubt it though. It also doesnt change the fact that i made the decision pre-injury with Barlow/Schammer plus a few other lesser light mids on the way back.

Doubt you will see Barlow or Schammer any time soon, the only other players pressing for selection apart from Lower would be Crichton/Pearce/Walters/Anthony.

Hey FB, I'm in Florida (Disney) so little laptop access plus very poor timezone for supercoach teams. Killing me staying up to 2am for the teams.

Def not worried about PKs 2300 as I beat his score :thumbsu:.

Def worried about him this week as Montagna is KILLING it, and my Dal Santo is returning to his soft tagged out of the match ways.

This is a better week for him, and next week is a better week for me as he has 2 freo premums out over and above my premiums.

Will put up some smack tak when i get back to the UK. I'll even put it up when i'm losing...i've been betting way too long to worry about whether i'm losing or not!

If I get time I might chuck out some of my most stupid bets which are pretty juicy!

There is no way you covered a donut this week unless you double traded. I'm guessing you dropped Coad, I'm not sure for who. But that still leaves Darling, Tapscott, Krakouer and Sylvia and your MPP fckd with Prestia. Not to mention your missing Ed Curnow, Danny Stanley, Nick Lower and to a lesser extent, Shane Savage. Game set match. Where is my money :)?

All of your birthdays arrived this weekend lol. Game is almost over...i lasted just 5 weeks before you went POW! I feel like rocky in that movie where he is locked into the corner and getting absolutely smashed...each time telling the guy "hit me, hit me!"

The events of this week which will give you a 300+ point play...

  • Coad out for me, Lower back for Subans leg for you. Double slap!
  • Krakouer dropped for me, not for you as you traded him a week earlier. Great decision by you :thumbsu:
  • Prestia dropped for me killing me this week one the one reason i chose him - MPP. A big slap! :eek:
  • All of your medium pricers killing it all in the one week...Reiwoldt/Petrie
  • Montagna chooses this week to go crazy, while Dal muppets it
  • The week where you would have Matera on the bench, you are forced to play him and he kills it
  • Mcauley (ruck guy) gets chosen letting you leave Petrie in the forward line...double bonus protecting any chance of a donut
  • Me playing Cam richardson as fwd 7...another slap for me after he is named as a sub...hopefully lower gets the same treatment/score :D
  • Mcauley outscoring Zac...unexpected bonus for you and raises his cash cow status to decent!

You did get one reprieve. I was strongly contemplating Richardson -> J.Tippett after friday night so I could swap Petrie to the forward line. I decided McCauley's 88 was too good not to take. But didnt pull the trigger. Instead swapped Cox onto the ground and took McCauley's 88 as emerg, over what i was expecting from Petrie. Fail. So I missed out on 140 points and could have lost Richardson its been a great week, but could have been exceptional.

God giveth and then takes it away.

Finally you get a piece of crap luck with Broughton...I can finally breathe again!

Then Higgins cant get a kick for 3 qtrs and then to top it off, your emergency, Lower kicks the winning goal giving you 105 - a score from nowhere, and more than Broughton would get!

Gimme a break!
