This misunderstanding came about because Mark said that he was in 4 of the leagues. Mark and I are represented across the 4 leagues but we are the only ones. We are the administrators/founders of the group so I don't think this is a particularly staggering discovery.

The league currently ranked #1 in SuperCoach is a public YSCC league.

I have little interest in making public detailed/private information like the exact structure of our elite leagues. It's not that it's 'top secret' or 'devious'. We simply don't owe you such information.

Your mate seems to be able to answer the question, whether it be the truth or not, however for some reason you're not able to.

I see no advantage whatsoever in revealing the makeup of YSCC, sorry NT.

If you feel like i am not answering the question it because i feel like SJ/SBlack are trying to bait me into an irrelevant argument to make themselves feel better.

The point to the bet was to raise interest, to add a 'team' element to SC, to have a rivalry. This thread would have been so much more interesting if it was taken. The $ would have just been a way of keeping score.
Regardless of whether or not the group agreed to it, SJ could easily have made the bet himself. I even offered to compromise to entice him to bet but he didnt. In the end i made a bet with him just to create some interest. I would have much rathered be supporting YSCCE in a bet than my own team.

If you wanted to know which league then you should have taken the bet.

@NT_Thunder We don't owe anyone an explanation of how our leagues are organised. This is the last time I am going to respond to a query like this. But - no. We do not have a 'gun' league. We did not split our league based on past performances. If you are trying to identify the '1' league to 'compete' against - there isn't one. We would have chosen a league to take you on in a league bet - but of course that didn't go through. 'Aces', 'Jacks', 'Kings' are purely there as identifiers. They are not ranked according to their worth on playing cards.

@SJ One of the leagues is a public league. We're not holding BF public leagues against you are we? Mark is bragging about being in 4 of the top 6. He's not bragging about the elites having 4 of the top 6. In fact - SCE1 is beating all the YSCCE leagues at the moment.

We have 3 elite leagues. That's only 1 more than you. Stop stirring the pot. Put 2 and 2 together and you can easily work out for yourself that nothing 'unusual' is going on.

If you want to continue talking bets & rivalries - I'm all for it. If you want to keep insinuating we don't deserve to have 4 leagues in the top 6 because of 'unusual behaviour'. I'm out of here. It's insulting and we don't have to cop that from a group we owe no explanation to.

I have no interest in:
1.Getting into the same arguments EDT and FFC are having
2.Starting something at an away ground

To be fair to SJ, I can easily see why he didn't want to take the bet, citing that he has no control over the other 15 members of the league.

I know this, because last year I had to pretty much abandon my team around Rd 15, I think it was, because I had 2 deaths in the space of a month, including a very good friend. So my team went pretty much unattended through that time, and contributed to the league as a whole doing poorly.

When situations like that being able to occur at any moment, therefore compromising the league as a whole, it's pretty clear what SJ was thinking.

The dollars have nothing to do with keeping score - the score keeps score just fine.

I don't see why you are making such an issue of me not accepting a league bet. No one else did either. I told you from day dot I wasn't interested and I stuck to my guns.

It's not about something 'unusual' going on. I'm not interested in how many leagues you have or do not have. I'm simply interested in how many people are spread across the four leagues. If there were some in multiple it would be completely fair game.

Simple question, simple answer.

I have never stated you don't deserve to have multiple leagues up the top, either.

@ SBlack - i would be taking exactly the same risk that something happened to someone from YSCCE and they couldnt look after their team. This is not something special to SCE.

Potentially you killed my action - thats a pretty good reason why i would be targeting you.

As Marcus indicated - i dont feel comfortable having this discussion on 'your turf'.

I am proud of being in 4 of the top 6 leagues. I am proud of the people i talk SC with doing so well. Nothing that you say is gonna make that less so.

You want a broader focus yet you only want to talk about the bet when someone is genuinely interested on how you set up your leagues.

You bring up irrelevant issues to skirt around the topic. You say you won't publish a list of names when all I asked for was the number of participants across more than one league.

Maybe the fact that i came on here and made a simple statement about us having 4 of the top 6 leagues. This was in direct response to a funny/stirring comment from Beamstosidebottom. It was part of a 'rivalry' and a bet that had absolutely nothing to do with you.

And then you tried to undermine the claim for no reason. You could have said 'SCE have no. 2 league' or even 'well done' but you didnt. You tried to attack me/us for no reason and on an issue that had already been raised and resolved a week ago.

We have no need to answer questions about the specifics of YSCCE. I dont come in here asking questions about SCE. As a rival group why would i want to divulge information to you about selection of leagues and our make-up?

If this thread is going to turn into SJ and his goons ganging up on me then i withdraw. I know of a community that works together a lot better than this community - check out the link in my signature.

This community works fine.

A question was asked and you've thrown a whole host of other issues in the way whilst skirting it. That's up to you. No one is 'ganging up' on you though, merely stating their own individual opinions.

You are the one who wanted this thread to "take on a broader focus", which I assume means discussing the league/player rivalry, in the first place.
