Sam coming into a semi-final as a massive favourite against a left hander on a night session on Ashe. Oh, that's scary, I don't want to think about what happens if she loses this. If she keeps playing the way she is, she should win, she has enough expreience at this stage where she can be able to handle this. Kerber has none.

Great decision by the USTA with moving the men's final to the monday, they've changed it to this:

Sat 2am: Men's QF
Sun 2am: Men's SF
Sun 9am: Women's SF
Mon 6am: Women's F
Tue 6am: Men's F
 
**** i have work on Tuesday at 8:00! This has been the worst GS this year. Great for Sam though Kerber has been in preety good form but Sam should get through. Please Wonziacki beat Williams although i dont think anyone is beating Williams.

Holy ****, cannot believe this. I'm slightly worried actually because Sam should probably cain this girl, but god knows what will happen. and lol at Zvonareva when she plays Sam, not that I'm complaining.

Also why wouldn't they play the ladies semis tomorrow so they can have a day off before the final?
 
Even though the weather was fine earlier this afternoon and even though its the business end for the mens and womens draws
The crowd numbers have been affected by the washouts :(

You can see with the match highlights for Stosur's match, not many patrons there

Anyway with the rain delays the right move has been made and the tournament doesnt finish on the 11th

^ Granted life goes on and we move on, but 11th of Sept is the Worst possible day to finish the U.S. Open

Glad they did this, but it's gonna be tough to see the matches now. I gotta work Tuesday arvo, not sure how to work around it, whether I should get up very early, or watch the final then sleep... :eek: Or IQ it and watch it at say 9-10am, but watching it not live kinda sucks.
 
Good win by Sam against Zvonerava.. kind of surprising really.

With all due respect who on earth is Angelique Kerber and how is she able to make the semi final of a Grand Slam??

This will be a test for Stosur though when she is expected to win comfortably the mind games start kicking in. Can only hope she remains positive.

Because the Women's game is about as strong as Port Adelaide's midfield.
 
Did anyone actually see the Tsonga Fed match? I honestly thought it would've been a bit closer than it was, was Tsonga crap or Fed too good?

Also, Sam does have trouble with lefties, but Kerber is virtually the same height as her, and I think that tends to pose more of an issue with her, especially when considering her record against Sharapova and Azarenka.

I saw Federer Vs Tsonga. Federer was really good but Tsonga looked a bit flat aswell. Was looking foward to that match was a bit of a letdown.
