Re: 2011 Wimbledon
Hardcourts are by far Del Potro's best surface, and Nadal's worst (aside from maybe carpet). JMDP has never beaten a top ten player on grass. He's pants.
I can't see anything happening here except Nadal in 3.
Someone like Djokovic won't let him get away with shots like that.
Why not? Because he beat Nadal a couple of times on hardcourts a few years ago before he got injured? For example, he is the favourite against JMDP, but would anyone be genuinely shocked if JMDP won? Surprised maybe, but shocked, I wouldn't be.

If Soderling was on song, I honestly don't think Tomic would have won. He hit far too many loose shots to Soderling's forehand that just weren't capitalised on like he usually does. I can't count how many times I winced at one that was tossed up to him, just for him to overhit it, pull it into the netcord, or fail to strike it deep enough to prevent Tomic from recovering.I must congratulate Soderling for surpassing all of my expectations.
Before Tomic had even played a point in the second round I said that Soderling would be lucky to take a single set against Tomic to the tenth game. Not only did he force a set to a 7-5 but he also took one to 6-4.
Congratulations, Soderling. However, you're not in Tomic's class even if Tomic was blindfolded.
