A Rod, the "Careyites" are not crowing nor lacking grace just mighty proud of where OUR CLUB is today. Will do my tips later.

Looking forward to the rant RAH RAH and well done on picking the Panthers last week. Do we get the run down of tipping scores from OTP like after round 2?

Play nice here while l am away please.

Having watched Carey last year i hope they go all the way. Clearly the best B Grade team i have seen. Will be watching closely to see if they can match the best A has to offer, not in the 1st half of season, but in rounds 15-GF. Great to see a new team in the mix.

PS This will be Werribee in 2 years time. They are coming with a bullet

Long range prediction

A Grade 2013 in no particular order

Old X
Carey
Werribee
Uni Blacks
Collegians
Caulfield
SBMT
De La Salle
Old Ivanhoe*
Beaumaris*

* Scotch and/or Uni Blues might change that. OM's are the wild card

My tips for ROUND 4

ST BEDES know nothing about them but they are at home
OLD SCOTCH home soil the only reason
OLD CAREY and take top spot
O. HAILEBURY to get on the winners list
O. XAVS cause they are Xavs and De La not at their best yet

See you at the Trott, l will be the one not far from the Canteen!!!

STBM - home ground
OM - must be due?!?
Carey - carry on lads
Hails - first win
Delasoul - big upset with depleted team!

Oh **** that’s all we need!

I was hoping I wouldn’t have to watch blokes with solarium tans, bad tatts and bleached blonde hair ever again when St Bernard’s got relegated!!

you would also be pleased that Beaumaris sharks and old brahton remain in the lower ranks then!

Never thought old Rah Rah would be quoting the boy from Broadmeadows, but what a big week its been in (Amateur) football. Now that I think about that statement, RahRah can't confess to know too much about Broadmeadows at all, it's a very long trek in the Bentley from Brahton. Suppose it's not dissimilar to the trek to see the new grammars (Carey and Trinity). Anyhow, hahlaghts for me this week, other than the release of the new Grange Hermitage, were plentiful after last week's ridiculous results.
After outing Mal from Malvern as Osama (he still hasnt been heard from), RIP Brockie was the first conspiracy theorist, doubting that Mal had a beard like a badger, or 4 wives. Reading Mal's work, he may end up with 4 wives over his lifetime, just one after another. Ron Hitler Barrassi was exposed for telling porkies about wedding attendants, although that all seems to have been lost in the big story of the week about two other wedding attendances. 1. Thorpey - was he really there as Elton's mistress? and 2. Pippa. Every red blooded male on the planet seems to want to have her as a mistress. (For the record, Thorpey liked her dress, and the way she wore her hair).
Tipping disasters last week, not just because of the 2 draws.
Schmurf put his tips in for last week on Sunday and this week on Monday. YouLike tipped OM's & Collegians. Nice try buddy. OTP admitted life was getting in the way of running the tipping comp. I have also noted a dangerous trend of bloggers replying to their own threads. Amofooty man and Carlton 2011, I won't name you but don't do it again. By the way Carlton 2011, that was a very spirited defence of Old Carey during the week. You have put yourself out there, and I am sorry to say that I can hear the sound of bubbles bursting. Loudly. How do you type the sound of a bubble bursting? YOu type Collegians in bold. And so here it goes.
Collegians - 8 goal winners over Carey
Saint Brendans Mordialloc Taipans - 5 goal winners over Blues at Brindisi. The students will be stuffed by the time they get 3 trams a train and 2 buses to get there.
OM's by a kick over Scotch in a thriller (the battle of the real prahvate schools)
Old Trinity to travel to the market gardens of murrumbeena and knock off old hail
Old Xavs to defeat Of The Room in a game the pope will be watching via satellite

Crikey, is that the time? Better get down to the Pantry for my lahtay, or they'll send the ambulance along the golden mile looking for me. 10am is perfect time for a stroll along Church Street. Yahmy Mahmy's in lahcra everywhere. And they all love giving the schnoodle a pat. Just hope he doesn't drop one outside Minimax again. Hoo Roo.

Bloods win!!!!!!! Bloods win!!!!

Picked 4 of the 5. Panthers let me down. Collegians were awesome, very slick outfit from start to finish. Their link play was something to watch and speed to burn.
Very entertaining to watch even if my team on the recieving end.
Rah Rah l didn't mean to link to my own quote but l was the last one to write so l added to it. My sincere apologies, it won't happen again and congrats, you said the bubble would burst by 8.

More later in the week.

The Catholic God must be a Jesuit and not a Lasallian. Well done to Xavs on another last gasp win but De La desperately unlucky. A superb game.

Agius brilliant for Xavs. I have mentioned this kid before but 18 year old Tom Humphrey for De La is becoming one of the best defenders in the comp. How he slipped the net of TAC/VFL clubs is beyond me.

I had a look at the second half of the St Bedes Mentone v Uni Blues match.
I must say I was disgusted with the filthy, petulant, babyish, abusivise mouth of the Uni Blues senior coach. I am amazed that the VAFA let this bloke do what he does week in, week out.
He is an embarrassment to not only his club but to the VAFA in general. His carry on, in front of a heap of 5-10 year old children was enough for one of his staffers to call him an imbecile. His new assistant coach carries on just as badly, they are a rudderluss ship lead by two headless individuals.
As far as the game goes, the third and fourth quarters were fantastic. Blues were fanatical at the ball and looked to have the Tigers stretched, only for the Tigers and their famous never give in spirit willing themelves over the line on the back of some inspired goals from their forwards and great leadership from their skipper.
