I like tubby, he seems like a nice guy but he is painfully unfunny.

• High-on-red-cordial over excitement
• Australian pom-pom waving
• Stating the obvious
• Talking far too much
• Giggling in the background long after a 'joke' has been played out
• General idiocy

I can handle all of that, I just groan and roll my eyes. In fact, I find it hilarious listening to him stuff up. Like when he was mentioning that all the Saffer batters got a start, except for Smith, who wasn't as "starty"

The thing that I can't handle is that he talks through the delivery of a ball and only pays it the scantest regard.

There's an unwritten TV commentary rule for cricket that you pause your conversation as the bowler reaches the middle of his run-up and abandon it completely if there is an excellent shot or wicket. Healy commentates as though the action is secondary to his clown act. I can't concentrate, all I can focus on is whether or not he'll shut up when the ball is being bowled.

I actually have to turn ABC off when Kerry O'Keefe comes on. I have no idea why but I just can't bear him. His laugh makes me dry retch. The idea that people pay money to be in the same room as him is incomprehensible to me. I realise I'm in a minority.
Give me the English commentators (Aggers and Henry) or Richie. Old School.

I used to be like that with O'Keefe, but I find he doesn't s****** as much now as he used to. The ABC even get commentators from visiting nations in the box, its not just all ozzie jingoism like Nine.

Agree that the Test Match Special team are the best.
