Prefer Healy to Chappell.
with all of Healy's bagging, but he is no near as bad as Slater & Taylor, nothing but dribble comes out of there mouth!
but i must say glens mcgrath addition to the commentary team has been one of the good points this summer, not saying he is brilliant buy any means, but he gives a different prospective from a bowlers point of view

Have they tried to explain the DRS today? Always good for some lulz.

Best thing about being at the ground is the radio/play is sync'd up perfectly.

Sweet Jesus Healy is awful.

But I feel sad for Richie. I get the fact that he'll only leave the commentary position in a pine box but he's not half as sharp as he once was.

I turned the sound off during the lunch break, haven't turned it back up. Game is much better to watch now.

I've noticed a few people talking about Nine as though they're almost broke. The deal with their lenders wiped away all of Nine's debt and they are apparently cashed-up now.

Plus, Gyngell will have seen how Ten's ratings slid down the sewer when Ten chose not to bid for the AFL rights or the NRL rights. Nine will want to keep the NRL for its winter sport and cricket for its summer sport.

Seven won't want the cricket because then it'll interfere with its Australian Open tennis coverage (which includes the Fed Cup and a few other lead-up tennis tournaments). Seven would need to choose which sport to show on its main channel and which sport to show on 7Mate.

I hope the camera work during this test is not what we are going to be served up all summer.

Generally the camera work is pretty good but this test had been terrible, piss the spider cam off, no one cares, just keep it simple.

Healy is the worst, slater and Taylor are pretty bad too.

I hate their whole bagging of Cowan for scoring slowly but refuse to slag off flakey stroke makers like Warner, Quiney and Haddin.

Do they think the public want to see fast scoring at any cost? It seems as if their trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator a la c7 and their footy coverage.

There are plenty of cricket lovers who like a good even contest between bat and ball, fast scoring doesn't automatically equal exciting cricket.
