I don't mind Brayshaw as a cricket commentator, he's actually quite knowledgeable about the game and injects a bit of humour.

No...just no. Brayshaw CANNOT commentate. He is a fool who supports the Kangaroos.

Geez, people are just inventing reasons to pick on the commentators. I don't listen to them all the time, but I don't mind their call of the game at all. I certainly don't find any of them the slightest bit annoying. I really enjoyed Healy's segment on practicing wicketkeeping, it was both interesting and instructive. Hearing from Barry and Viv Richards was a real bonus.

It's in Heals' contract with nein that he has a word quota to meet on regular commentary duties. It's something like 200 words per minute? Or thereabouts.

Given that, it's hardly surprisng that he talks non-stop and 90% of what he says is drivel.

You can go 2-3 overs without hearing a word from him and then all of a sudden he pops up with a comment about something the other 2 knobs were talking about a few overs ago.

Well he is about 82 I think.. He still says some pretty good and sometines funny stuff but over the last couple of years you can tell that he slowing down a bit mentally, probably also easy to zone out when you have a clown like Healy dribbling next to you.
