I agree and Russian is doing a fantastic job. I guess I'm just thinking in regards to sante in particular having to match bids that may be significantly differed to that of the OP. Just don't want a situation where someone might be "that's the bid? I'd match the bid in the OP but not the significantly larger one" after the bidding has finished thinking they had only matched the player for the lower amount, that's all.

Best way to avoid this would be to quote the bid you are matching, then as you continue through the thread and find others, do the same until you can match no more

Risky no doubt. But he's only just turned 31. Rucks generally can play till mid 30's (King, Gardiner etc.). Definetely wouldn't go for five years, but four is conceivably possible.

Would be more than happy to go three years, but if it's matched then I'm finished so I obviously have to raise the bar somehow, and I could imagine Coxy playing till 35. A lot worse rucks have made it that far. Hell, he's in his peak at the moment.

Go the three years - It's matched and I'm finished, missing out on what could be the difference between a premiership or not.
The only logical option is to go for the four years. Would I prefer three? Yes of course. But it's not like you wouldn't have matched the three years.
