Essendon want Jacobs at 35.

I honestly don't know why they would take him, he's had his sights set on Norf since the trade period, wouldn't Essendon picking him up mean he wouldn't have the passion to play for them?

I think we've all heard that he pulled a "Sherly Rioli" at Draft Camp and doesn't want to leave SA, which is fantastic for Port IF the Crows' draft picks are taken away.

I know North have shown interest in Kennedy, but I'd think he'd prefer to be at a club like Port instead.

I agree. They did very well in the trade period, and are set to pick up quiet a bit of talent with their late first-round picks which should hold them in good stead in future years. Very enviable.

I kind of do agree. I guess we would be talking to him and his manager to try and convince him but if he isn't keen we probably won't take him.

Players are often drafted to clubs they'd prefer not to be at. FFS, he'll be getting the $ he wants and he'll living in Melbourne. Is Arden St/North the closest place to his GF's/Parents house or something? Such a sook.

Isn't this the same as Essendon and the Caddy situation where everyone was having a go at essendon? If he wants to come home to Victoria then he should be happy with any vic club that picks him up.

If Adelaide keep their first round selection surely they would be looking at replacing Tippet with another forward. I see them selecting hometown kid Tim O'Brien, if he's still available and not Kennedy (if he's also avail).

Id think Adam Carter will be a likely chance just unsure if he will last that long. Maybe Marvin Warrell you would also think a key back maybe even one who is a bit older. Nick Rodda is a local talent and is a maive unit, unsure if he will get picked at all though.

I read something on one of the websites stating that Garlett's diet and sleep patterns were a real concern for recruiters which suggests his fitness and mental aptitude is nowhere near other draft prospects. Saying that, he's too damn talented to be overlooked past pick 20 or so. There'll be clubs that'll back themselves in to turn him around. The Pies look the most likely suitors or perhaps those other teams with multiple picks inside the top 25 selections such as GWS and the Dogs.

Darling didn't have to pack up and move across the country. Gartlett has tried that already and it didn't work out very well.

You dont just muck around with picks.

Darling is a fair bit differant than Garlett.
