He looked at the ref because he was challenging, didnt you see the close up of it during the match

If you challenge you stop playing the point. We all know that as that decision to challenge has to be made instantly on the baseline "out" ball because it's impossible to use Hawk-eye otherwise. He didn't stop playing. There was a call of "out" from somewhere that confused everything hence the look to the umpire. I thinks that's obvious. Umpire's fault for not replaying the point.

Hope she beats Petra but I can't see it happening.

You know, Petra's not the worst looking player on the circuit, Petra is someone who has substance whereas Kirilenko is a supermodel

Petra is better looking because she wins tennis matches and plays good tennis

I remember when Pat Rafter once said looks come second to him, because if he wasnt winning, he'd just be some ugly mug playing crappy tennis

How different are the rules to the ladies

Looks are important in women's tennis because it's the only reason to watch it. The AO organisers realise this so they put hot chicks on centre court.
Tbh, women's tennis should be played with them in underwear- would be a much better spectacle.

With regards to the optus ad (between the two crocodiles), I reckon it is the greatest tennis match in history

Where can I get a dvd of it?

edit- unlike last year, they digitally removed the sugar glider from last year

Kirilenko not right today, but the guys here on this board will say: 'but shes alright'

The most obvious example of gamesmanship from Kirilenko in calling the trainer, when it was clear she was just getting her ass handed to her.
