Ok

Paul Roos...

Get him on board. Throw the kitchen sink at him. Have him signed for 4 years.

Forget Malthouse...overrated, way too expensive for what he will give back in return.

Bailey....im out of ideas.

So sign Roos and we have half a chance next year!

I've heard a lot of people say they want Roos, but not sure he's available.
The word out of Sydney was that he is not a career coach. He wanted to
coach the Swans but that was it. If he is available, i'd love to have him but
only if he promised that the game plan would not be that boring crap that
Sydney played under him. I aint watching that every week.

I agree that Malthouse is overrated as a coach (not massively but a bit),
but he would bring a lot of attention to the club. It would be a great marketing tool.
Queens birthday would be interesting.

I'm willing to give Bailey till the end of the year and see what happens, but If we
do go down the road of a new coach, I'd like it to be an experienced coach.
We haven't had that since Ron Barrassi. It's about time i'd say. What other
expierenced coach's are available? Laidley? (hey dont laugh. It would be a lot of fun).

I only see two experienced coaches worth looking at and they have already been mentioned, Malthouse and Roos.

Others though and Sanderson from Geelong, Neeld from Collingwood either getting them in as assistants or for the top.

Geelong have shown you dont need an experienced couch, as long as you have the cattle, and good assistants which i think we lack atm

I want a better coaching team rather than just one guy, but as has been mention Malthouse will bring with him a team pre made

Roos comes across as somewhat negative in his gameplan and arrogant in the press.

He delivers Premierships though, so I'll take him.

You guys are right lets sack Bailey now, I mean he has obviously lost the players:thumbsu:

One win means sweet FA.

Bailey is still garbage, it was Robinson's comments (how pathetic we are:o:o) that were the reason we played with some sort of heart last night, had absolutley nothing to do with Bailey.

Shit coach is still shit. Soft players are still soft. Do the same as last night for the rest of the year and ill shut up.

Ask me again in three weeks time.

The win last night was terrific but we have a habit of playing brilliant one week and shit for the next three.

We have played in patches this year, which young teams tend to do. We have played some exciting, attacking football (like last night) and at times some defensive, abysmal football (West Coast). But considering it is round 11 and we sit 2 points out of the 8, I can't see where all of the anti-Bailey is coming from.

We are in the best position we have been in for 5 years and that is with our team being descemated by injuries. Did anyone really expect us to be better than a team that is ranked say 6-12??? Because this is where we have been all year.

If we fall away in the 2nd half of the year then I agree Bailey is gone, but until then why doesn't all the Bailey haters STFU and relax until then.

Comment please
Keep Bailey .As a coach he is true, he knows what he,s doing and he,s had a hard time of it and is building that group up, it can only get better for Melbourne. Today was great.
Talk about backs against the wall, and Jamar wasn,t playing, good on you Dees.
It takes time and Bailey should and will reap the benefit of seeing your team get right up there with him as coach.
No one else will do any better so stop the rubbish and let the club grow and become a power under thid honest straight talking coach, his kids are playing for him , for me Melbourne would be insane to get rid of him.
Imagine if Hawthorn had have diced Clarko after 2006/7 ,no you got to keep the situation moving with everyone knowing where they stand , me I,d sign up Bailey tomorrow for 3 more years. Patience your time is comming, just like the Tigers.
I love seing the lower clubs build up, GC Suns gave the Eag,s a fright today.

Gee so much for watching your team rebuild . You aren,t a supporter are you.
What rot everything takes time. When Big Jeff was having second thoughts about our coach a while back most big footy Hawks were onto him to keep Clarko so were members
like yours truelly, gee support your team, lame suoorters just expect the impossible , its a hard sport.

Still not convinced on Bailey, he needs to earn his next contract in the remaining weeks of the season. Will be dependent on how the team performs.
