Nothing from the club, in fact Bucks stated in his CTV interview with Chrisso that his coaching team for 2012 is now complete (with Harvey appointment). The article (Barnes) may have been media speculation...unless they appoint him as part time ruck coach (rather than full time).

I think there was a rumour article saying that Barnes got sacked/left the Bulldogs and that he was going to the Pies (or someone said we should get him) but nothing was from the club.

He has Mitch Hahn as his forward assistant in 2012.
Big error, he's our senior forward coach, he was last year, and he will be again in 2012.

I'm a little disappointed we haven't employed Barnes as rumoured. I would have liked to see us do something about our ruck development and I think Barnes would have been a great get. I always liked him as a player.
