For a bunch of inside grunt mids we don't seem to do too well with the inside grunt work

Not necessarily. Those are just the KPF's we know of. I'd say a 20-22 KPF would fit that bracket, and I've had an inkling for some time that Kerr has one up his sleeve that fits that description that will surprise us all. No clue who it may be though, so I'm probably wrong.

Exactly. I'm much more hopeful on Lisle than most, too. I think he could be very good.

at first I was like lisle who? also during the year I though he would be a run of the mill trade.. OK but most likely forgotten in a couple years and possibly traded/delisted. although right now I'm a little excited about seeing him next year and watch him progress. it can only be a good thing training next to the great man browny. if lisle kicks on and becomes even a best 22 forward/ ruck I think we have won big time in that trade. still some work to do however but I reckon we persist with him and give him all the time and support we can as I just don't get that same feeling with acorn (who I feel sorry for as he hasn't had the same game time to truly hit that next level).

I think acorns best form we not be wth us which is sad as he loves the club.

He did get a nice little write up in the player match up article on the lione website. I was really impressed with his game against us two weeks ago. We are in a great position to assess him today; I wonder if GWS are going to be there today watching Jed Anderson.

Browny needs to get him on the angry pills. Has a lot of potential does Lisle, bit more aggression would do him the world of good, actually look to knock over a few defenders silly enough to stand in front of him.

I hope we still manage to keep a decent amount of high picks this year.

it's a bit much to trade for just one pick maybe 23 and a player would be better but I would rather trade pick 30 but dont think melbourne would go for it

They secure two picks in the top 30 for their top 15 pick. At picks 23-30 their would be a lot of good talent available such as Hrovat, Atkins, Obrien just to name a few.

Each year there is a player that shoots up the draft due to a good carnival but even better form in the TAC Cup finals. This year that player is clearly Jackon Macrae - looking a certain top 10 player now.
