I remember we were very interested in Daniel Menzel in his draft year. Our recruiter at the time, I can't even remember who it was now, said so after the draft but we didn't have a high pick(2009 we selected Barlett with our first pick at pick 29 I think?)

I'd agree with this but Wines gives off the impression that he would have interviewed exceptionally well with a really professional attitude. They may feel he's worth the risk.

The AFL link is just an SEN feed. Actual draft coverage starts at 7pm Vic time. Still 9 mins to go.
