The Norwood connection continues. Great to see him back.
Collingwood got a beauty in Kyle Martin.
And huge thanks to@Carlton_FC for taking a chance on me again. I'm looking forward to a fresh start and proving myself all over again.

Lets just hope Lonegan lines up in the centre square in rd 1, Mr Bell may have a nice little surprise for himAnyone else happy with richmond's off season? Adding three more twos players in Stephenson, ricky petterd and sam lonergan…
Include that with chaplin, knights and aaron Edwards….tigers have effectively cancelled out a chance to add a bit more youth to their promising list all in the hope of finishing 8th. Terrible list management…makes me smile.
Enjoyed looking on their board to read them call petterd and lonergan great players as well.

Don't rate Dimmer Hardwick's coaching and recruiting obsession with re-treads. Just another Crazy Vossy who had Brisbane in the finals a few years back due to the talent at his disposal. Make or break year if he can't get that side into the finals.
Yep. Gotta love the Tiges, they just love loading up on junk.
Times like this you'd kill for Parrots input.![]()
Was just thinking I'd love to hear Parrots thoughts on Richmond topping up on recycled players againYep. Gotta love the Tiges, they just love loading up on junk.

Some think Roos will be looking at a coaching comeback next year...Reckon you've nailed it there. Gone for a heap of mature players because he's been there a while now. Fail to make the finals this year and the pressure will be on.
Open up a round one thread and you'd have a better chance![]()
That's pretty much what the rookie list is for in this day and age. You'll note we went all youth in the main draft, and traded out a total of 1 5th round draft pick for all of the mature age players we brought in. So hardly at the expense of bringing in youth. With the sub rule affecting fitness and with the ability to rookie as many mature ages as you please, the rookie list will be used this way more and more in future. We were just right on top of it this year. Our RL now consists of 4 kids (international small forward, one KPD, one winger and one forward/utility) and 3 mature agers, two of which have shown they're capable at the highest level, the other is a back up ruck who will only play if Ivan dies. Beautiful list management.Anyone else happy with richmond's off season? Adding three more twos players in Stephenson, ricky petterd and sam lonergan…

From memory he's a tad slow off the mark but winds up okay once moving. That's also what I got from that vid, but it's hard to tell. His disposal does look better and he is hard at the ball.
But he does look a bit heavy and a tad slow.
Good luck to him.![]()

His kicking technique has definitely improved, based on that highlights package. It is a lot more fluent than it was when he was previously on our rookie list. He also seems to have built quite a bit of upper body strength.Crikey, Cachia looks bigger than I remember (I suppose this is natural though).
Only a highlights vid obviously, but his kicking looked spot on and had a bit of composure, especially for someone who runs and tackles like a man possessed.
Bell is gonna have some competition it seems, all going well.
