I think now that it appears we are out of the running for Caddy, we hold on tight to that pick 11 and get ourselves the best available.
As it stands I can't see anything worth trading that pick for.

I'm finally fully on board the Carlton train now, with Malthouse coaching being the icing on the cake. I just hope we got Jesse Lonergan with 22, he's destroying the combine at the moment:

3rd in standing leap, 2dn in running leap, 2nd in agility, 7th in repeat sprints, and just outside the top 10 in 20m sprint with a time of 3.01.

He's a hard inside mid who can kick goals. Exactly the kind of player I think we are deficient in.

In case anyone is interested, Jarryd Cachia, one of our former Rookies (best known for smashing Ben Nason), is a pretty good chance to get picked up again this year. Had a great year in the SANFL.

i really dont know why we delisted him, didnt he have another year on the rookie list? I always thought he was gonna be a good player. At psycho at the contest, big build and decent skillys

Sounds a bit skinny to me. Maybe just running the standard mantra..............maybe?

That could change if we get deals for players who might want out (Ellard etc.), however the way he said it didn't seem to be a standard line.
Not sure there was a need to say 3, if that wasn't what is planned.
Possibly could just be because that's what we've currently got though (out: Kerr, Russell, Thornton)
