I really like Kennedy a little in and under rocket who is hard as and has a massive left foot kick. I could see him play next and be the rising star.
I'm not even an armchair drafter, I mainly read in here and track news. .. Like the sounds of this though. .. A combination of inside and belting kick sounds good. .. What's his efficiency with that kick like. .. /band-wagon
For some reason I like the sounds of Membrey /bigger-bandwagon. ..

Like Colquhuon at 33 because he could release Yarran.

Wonder if we would take Colquhuon or go for Josh Simpson if both were available. I wouldn't be against drafting some inside muscle and grunt if one's available.
Yeah I'm a big fan of both these guys. Either of them or Nick Graham at our second pick would be a dream come true.

I wouldn't know but as I had posted earlier there seems to be a solid feel for a grouping of 9 to be in the mix for the top 10, Daniher included.

If one or two current outsiders, in Stringer, Menzel, Garner or Garlett get taken up within the top ten, then a Wines, O'Rourke or even Plowman may make their way to #11.

Dependent on what clubs did in this trade period may just have some influence on how they may draft.

these four scare me, they could be elite players but i would hate our recruiting department to take such a risk on them

I would be over the moon if we ended up with Garlett. I think if he was still available we wouldn't be able to get his name out quick enough. Stringer not so much, but if they thought Menzel was safe (I doubt they will and I don't think he is) he'd be a great addition too.

Really?

Our list is pretty healthy. This is exactly the time to take a risk on that sort of player.

Or Macrae.

i cant say i kno much about Macrae he's rated high by most of the phantoms, a good solid 200 gamer is something i'd want.

Rory Atkins for pick 33. There's something about left footers who can nearly all kick well.

Matthew Dick's highlights brings back memories of Jayson Daniels who I hated.

i think the most risk would come with Menzel, but gueez he has talent very steve johnson like, stringer would be the least risky of that lot i think he just needs another year to get over the break

That may just go for every other club also.

From memory, you may only expect about 50% of top ten selected players to play that many games.
No easy feat getting to 200 games.

I'm liking the prospect
Sin, could you tell me what your signature is, it is rather poetic, is it a song? A google search only comes up with your posts on here haha
Line out of a Catgut Mary song, slightly edited as I'm vehemently against smoking ;)

agree with this...... one thing that shocked me was finding that waite had only knocked up the 150 this year this guy is and was quality and probably will never make the 200

Not a kiddy watcher so have no ideas as to the relative merits of those mentioned, but we do have a good track record of developing supposedly wayward indigenous players in recent years so may be well placed to welcome Garlett Mk II into the fold.

Mind you not sure if this is good luck or good management.

So we can get Garlett Mk II in the ND, Yarran Mk II in the Rookie draft and Fev Mk I in the PSD ;) (We already have Fev Mk II on the list, and he already wears #25 :D )

Under whelmed by Garlett's highlights if indeed that is the highlights. Good evasion, booming left foot but not much finesse...is he dual sided at all? Only noticed the one rushed right foot. Doesn't look to have the easy pace of Yarran, but then few do.

Bit to like about Kennedy. I'm not sizeist.

Love the way Jaksch marks at the highest point while moving at pace. Looks a good field kick and goal kick as well and looks like he has good agility too. Actually a lot like Waite, who i rate highly.

Looks like a good compliment for the likes of a Mitchell or Casboult to me.

I'm voting for Jaskch unless one of the top mids like McCrae or O'Rourke inexplicably drop.

Plus one

Chris25 now has Stringer! at pick 3, Vlastuin at 7, Macrae to us.

The draft is about 5 weeks away, when do Snoop and foj1 etc get their threads going?
