So, haven't been following the likely choices. Can someone put the scouting reports and a couple mock drafts up?

Remember speed is king...will this be the mantra for propelling our choices?
If Bell has proven anything this season, it's the value in having a big, strong body over the ball that can't be pushed over. More please.

Their salary cap couldn't possibly be that big. They're a young side and they haven't played finals. Questions should be asked if they can't fit in Tippett.

After what the Tippetts go up to, the AFL should force Tippett into the draft with no stipulations regarding his contract. The AFL could deregister him for six to 12 weeks, but he'll still get off relatively scott free if signs for big money. A club would welcome a fresh power KPF for the finals or a push at the finals.
My thinking too.

Tippett should have to go into theND with no price on his head andosydney should not be allowed to take him even if he makes it to 23 after their dirty dealing with the crows.

But instead of being punishedtheywill of course be rewarded by th afl and get him for free in the psd. Boy that would shit me. Tippets and the swans get what they want and more in the swans case and the crows carry the can for the whole sordid affair.

AFL needs to deregister Tippett for 12 weeks or more. Anything less is just the equivalent of a bad injury that keeps him out for that long. He'd laugh at that if he still gets his money and gets to Sydney. AFL's golden boy tried to exploit this arrangement and use their cap concessions to get Tippett for pick 23. AFL and their draft tampering concerns will look dodgy if he becomes a Swan. Swans did this with Williams too.

Put him in the main draft or GTFO.

Knightmare posted on his thread that he expects Ben Jacobs to fall in the picks 30-35 region if he nominates for the ND.

Would be a great get if he falls to our second round pick.
Why would Jacobs get past 25?

The Filth have enough picks to take a chance on him. Derek Hine thinks Russell could be elite.

Saints, Dogs or Hawks would consider Jacobs.

He meant Western Bulldogs, not Wayne Hughes. Absolutely every chance that they might pass on him. Macrae, Garlett, Stringer, Jaksch and Vlastuin are ones that will throw some mock drafts off the scent.
And Garner, he's the one I've had the most trouble rating.

Battle of Troy
In his own words: "[The doctor] said that the LARS is looking really good, it's looking strong, so there were a lot of positives that came out of that - it was good news. He said if I did do it again then there is the possibility of having the traditional reconstruction or the LARS again. It obviously wouldn't be good to do it again, but it is good news that all the options would be open to me. I've had other doctors look at it and say that it's looking really strong, but it's nice to hear that from him. He said that it doesn't look like there are any issues or any need for any revisions or anything like that."

Boston boy
If the Suns pass on the 182cm midfielder, there are likely to be any number of clubs pursuing the teenager who hails from Broadbeach Football Club.

The 18-year-old is a particularly polished player and uses the ball, on both feet, as well as anyone in this year's draft class.

"Every time I used to go to footy on the Gold Coast the young kid would be out there kicking the footy with his old man, left and right foot even when he was five or six years of age," Queensland State Talent manager Bob Batty said.

"I was never in to going out and trying to do the fancy stuff. I always wanted to get the basics done first," Boston told AFL.com.au.

Boston understands where the ball is heading, allowing him to discover space in ways other players have little concept of finding.

"He gets there a little bit earlier than what the other guys do," AFL Academies Development Manager Michael Ablett said.
