I'd say Collins has impressed the new coach enough to be re-drafted.

Was really hoping to uncover a hidden gem with pick 69, looks like we'll be picking a recycled player in the PSD.

Collins is surely a certainty to be at the club next year on one of the lists. They wouldn't have spent the $5-10k to take him on the Arizona trip otherwise.....

Maybe it was a sunk cost so made no difference. I cant see why they would've delisted him if it didn't impact the mandatory three selections. I think he's gawn!

It's very strange.
We could be bumping him back to the rookie list, but given that he's contracted and that we already have 4 rookies, this doesn't make much sense to me.

Really? You wouldn't sign a bunch of coaches and sack them with a year to go on their contract.....but I do think Collins will remain with us.

I get the feeling this is salary cap management. Delist and payout Collins so his salary counts towards the 2012 TPP, re draft him as a rookie for 2013 on a reduced salary (being that he received a large payment in 2012).

Reckon we'd be able to do this (bigger payment this year, smaller next) without needing to delist and rookie him

Sounds much more likely.

Any Sandgroper smokies for us?

I was even wrong.

189.1cm and 76.8kg.

As for how Sandgropers go, they're doing their best to drop down the order. Garlett may drop out of the first round, Simpson has a 1 year old kid...

My personal favourite is McIntosh, but he should be gone by the top 30, so I am not sure Carlton will get their hands on him.

I'm a little negative on our players this year.

Rodda is not valued high enough on BF.

Ramsey would be my best bet for a player that could go high that is not talked about a lot on these boards due to some foot injury.

The D&T board suggests that 14/18 teams have said they are not interested in Garlett. That would be a pretty good indication that something is going on behind the scenes which make him pretty damn hard to recruit .........

I had both Rodda and Ramsay pretty high in my phantom, there's some potential with both of them. I've had a similar injury to Ramsay's and had surgery on it. It's painful but after about six months I was fully recovered.

I knew the 183cm Wilkins was listed at was not even close.

What'd you think of Howson when he was used in defence?
