Don't forget... If Tippett goes into this draft, I cannot see Brisbane passing on him at pick 8. Would move us up in the draft order effectively.

I couldn't find many stats on him but he did kick 8 goals in 10 Games at VFL Seniors level and 9 "Bests" whatever they are

Could he be a pick up in the Rookie Draft, or possible even a late pick in the National Draft if he nominates.
Should Tippett go into the draft I see the top 10 going as:
Whitfield, Toumpas, Grundy, Wines, O'Rourke, Plowman, Mayes, Tippett, Macrae, Daniher.
Leaving us with the choice of Stringer, Garlett, Vlastuin, Kennedy, Garner, Jaksch, Menzel, Colquhoun, Lonergan.

This draft dies after 20 if i am led to believeSo we look like we are only use 3 pick (11, 36, 56 and not use 71 or 76) and upgrade 3 rookies and we finished 10th But Sydney won the flag and are having 8 picks with the last 3 being 103, 121 and 139. there first 5 picks are between 20 and 70. I'm not saying that what we are doing is wrong or we should cut player A, B or C but Sydney seem to be a head of everyone when it comes to developing players and picking talent. Are we going to look back at this draft and say we missed the boat or are we doing the right thing?
Walker is too valuable up forward for us to mess around trying to re-invent him now.............again.
Walker made it clear that he thought his best football was to be up forward and after being open to being traded in 2010 produced 50 goals in 2011.
Sort of proves enough to me.
This year didn't start off too well for Walker having been injured and just didn't fare too well for anyone else thereafter.

Next years is supposed to be very strong though
If pinching players from other clubs like Mumford, Kennedy, Shaw, Mattner, Richards, McGlynn, Seaby, Armstrong, Morton, after they have been nurtured by those clubs first, equals being ahead when developing players, then I think the definition of developing players has changed. Yes some of these players were only fringe players at other clubs, but a number of them have come from clubs who have been very successful over the last 5-6 years & therefore have very good systems in place for players to come into when they are first drafted. So we look like we are only use 3 pick (11, 36, 56 and not use 71 or 76) and upgrade 3 rookies and we finished 10th But Sydney won the flag and are having 8 picks with the last 3 being 103, 121 and 139. there first 5 picks are between 20 and 70. I want Stringer.
Any chance WB would pass on him?
He meant Western Bulldogs, not Wayne Hughes. Absolutely every chance that they might pass on him. Macrae, Garlett, Stringer, Jaksch and Vlastuin are ones that will throw some mock drafts off the scent. He may but not his call. SR is número UNO now.
Remember speed is king...will this be the mantra for propelling our choices?
We can sort of hope Tippett enters the draft and gets taken by Brisbane at pick 8.If Adelaide get excluded shame it won't push our first pick any higher.
If Tippett gets past Brisbane, he's too talented for Hardwick who loves his list cloggers and role players. We can sort of hope Tippett enters the draft and gets taken by Brisbane at pick 8.
Tigers probably couldn't afford him. Chaplin in, Cotchin, Deledio, Riewoldt on good money and Martin soon to command more.If Tippett gets past Brisbane, he's too talented for Hardwick who loves his list cloggers and role players.
GC or GWS after a nudge and a wink from Demetriou, Ken Wood and the AFL Commission.
I want Stringer.

Their salary cap couldn't possibly be that big. They're a young side and they haven't played finals. Questions should be asked if they can't fit in Tippett.Tigers probably couldn't afford him. Chaplin in, Cotchin, Deledio, Riewoldt on good money and Martin soon to command more.

After what the Tippetts go up to, the AFL should force Tippett into the draft with no stipulations regarding his contract. The AFL could deregister him for six to 12 weeks, but he'll still get off relatively scott free if signs for big money. A club would welcome a fresh power KPF for the finals or a push at the finals.
it'll be even funnier if he gets picked up by port at 7. i'll literally lol.We can sort of hope Tippett enters the draft and gets taken by Brisbane at pick 8.
Exactly, he's foregone his right to be demanding anything.Their salary cap couldn't possibly be that big. They're a young side and they haven't played finals. Questions should be asked if they can't fit in Tippett.
