I doubt it. Mick's job is to develop the players, rather than overrule those who have watched them play for the last two or three seasons. This would be equivalent to Rogers going onto Mick's turf and asking why he's moved a forward in Yarran or Henderson back. Only an idiot would say no to drafting a player of the class of Murphy, Yarran, Rioli, Gaff, Heppell, Pendlebury and Fyfe because they're not big.Mick shouldn't have a say in who we pick as I think Rendell is probably on the money, but should be on the same page as Rogers on what type of team they want to assemble. I think that it will reweight the selection process of who is next best available. If a lightly built player like McCrae were to fall to 36 (not that it would happen) we would be wrapped to take him, but Mick has said he wants a bigger stronger team and that will influence the selection process.
We've cut Collins so that we can sign a Delisted Free Agent prior to the draft (free's up a spot on our list).
I wonder who it could be?
Surjan? Toy? Gillies? Shrman? Kunta Kinte?

I'm sure rogers and mick and whoever else would sit down and go though the list and workout what's needed and what we don't need. Rogers would say player a, b and c this is were they would fall in the draft this is there upside and this is there down side. Mike might say I only want good ball users or big body's
That was the plan with Buckley...Agree OB... Let him get massive and turn into a wild beast of hell. Then destroy it at AFL level.![]()
I love the idea of Robbo and Bell in khaki machetes and bandanas, crawling through the jungleyeah who ever our draftees are, buy them a ticket to the belgian congo to be raised by gorillas then send robbo and bell out to bring them back to play seniors in 2014
St Kilda prefer the Ramb-o style initiation after drafting players.RAMBO STYLE....
I wouldnt be too upset if this was the case...It would have to be for Toy. Everyone else can be got with our 3rd round pick.
My understanding is, they'll make a play (@ Toy) and he doesn't come they'll redraft Collins.

I don't think he needs 2 years to achieve this. Already can run through and all over people (Jobe Watson), just paint the boy green and we are pretty much there.Or we could lock Tom Bell in a Gym for 2 years and Unleash the Incredible Hulk on the AFL..

Not sure they would be starting round 1, probably come in the rotation and play every now and then, really depends on who we pick, which of the boys we already have step up or drop off and them nasty injuries we keep getting.Out of those possibly available at our pick, are there any that could be expected to come in from round 1 and play a part next year?
