Apart from us :D I have these as the three other winners or teams I rate in the draft:
Western Bulldogs
Did really well. Stringer, Macrae, Hrovat and throw in F/S Hunter. They form the nucleus of a strong Dogs team in the future. Although they maybe failed in landing a tall forward or defender - which they desperately need - I think they were best served by going for the best available. I can see their Captain & VC in the future coming from these guys.

Port Adelaide
Port did great! Ticked so many boxes. Wines is a steal and gives them the midfield grunt they needed. Mason Shaw is a good fit up forward as is Clurey down back. Couldn't have hoped to do much better with what they had.

Sydney
Towers, Membrey, Marsh & Dick. Not names that jump out, but all cannily good picks for them. Towers & Membrey are ready to play and can strengthen the premier team. Add Tippett to that and they are a better team than last year. I think Membrey is a steal for them, he will fit perfectly in their forward line & do well on the small SCG. I see Towers as someone who can instantly impact as well or at least give great depth - think Isaac Smith type pick up. Marsh is a solid defender and they needed some depth there, while Dick has a lot of upside (pun intended!) and pace off half back which the Swans love.

Special mentions to Melbourne for landing Toumpas, thankyous go to GWS, he will be a better player than Scully. Nth Melb also did really well.

Who I didn't rate:
GWS
GWS I think missed some great talent so I don't rate them at all. Surprised they went with so many talls. I think it was a low risk low reward draft for them. They didn't need any more mids and I get that, but I think they had a chance to go for some x-factor and different types. I still can't believe they passed Grundy - they must be set on getting Tippett.

Carlton
This is a bit harsh, but f.. it, its Carlton. Temay & Graham were good solid gets at those picks for sure. Menzel could be anything & I guess you have to pick the best available. However, Menzel as good as he may be doesn't really fill a need on a list that has some serious flaws. Add to that the risk of his knees and I think they have missed the mark. Could easily be proven wrong given Menzel's obvious upside
.

LMAO. "Doesn't really a fill a need" - no, a mid/half fwd who kicks bags of goals and can take a good contested mark doesn't fill a need at all! What an absolute flog.

It's disturbing that the reigning Premiers have finally learnt to draft. Their efforts up until the Lewis Johnston pick four years ago were poor. They've finally learnt to add pace, skill and X factor to a boring, yet tough and successfull team. Plus Membrey who could benefit and make it as a third tall if the bloody AFL lets them get Tippett. We can always blame the living allowances.

For all of those posters wanting Garlett, forget about it.
The guy is a flog of the highest order and he'll be lucky to get a rookie spot.

Terrific recruiting by our team last night.
To add Menzel, Temay and Graham to our list really is a great effort.
Hope they all went out and celebrated last night.
I certainly did...

I dont think there are many defences that are concerned with our current crop of key forwards
Key forwards don't win you premierships. Excluding the embarrassment of 2007 (Mooney 5), no key forward has kicked more than 3 goals in a grand final since Alastair Lynch in 2003.

With the addition of Menz we have 4 midfielder size (Betts, Garlett, Walker) capable of kicking 40 goals a season. Diversity is the key.

I agree but someone has to keep the oppositions best defenders occupied!

C4[2]Yo`DooR is Troy Menzel a new inductee to the Yugo But Not Yugo List?

Sydney's Harrison Marsh is a lock in though

Port's Mason Shaw

Can we start the 'face like a bloated arseh*le list'?

Your attention span after 18 clubs overlooked Garlett.

No flogs.

Hope Garlett can turn it around and make it, but it looks like he's going to be a miss like a lot of talented footballers who aren't driven.
Alright mate relax
My opinion is he's not that uncommitted and he's definitely not a flog
And he's worth a one year rookie spot

Swans goals were from mids... and defenders even... last years GF.
Hawthorns multiples Buddy 3 i think ... though he did kick badly KF and Hayle .. 2..their ruck

He will be training with Essendon and I am pretty sure they have a pick before us in the PSD.

Bombers give Garlett draft hope

UPDATE: Dayle Garlett could be offered a draft lifeline by Essendon after the Bombers confirmed today that the 18-year-old would be asked to train with them ahead of the AFL's rookie and pre-season drafts.

Garlett, overlooked at Thursday's national draft by clubs concerned about off-field discipline issues, remains in contention to be taken in either one of the later drafts.

I doubt we would take Garlett in the PSD. I think that if we were going to take him, we would snaffle him in the rookie draft... if the bummers didnt take him first.

At what stage did you come to that conclusion? Was it after you interviewed him, after you watched his YouTube video(s) or read up about him in various phantom drafts?
After my mate who played with him in the carnival told me it, so leave it i have my opinion its based off my knowledge and is whatever the **** i wanna think
