Ben Robinson from inside footy on SEN has us taking Tim Obrien with Pick 16, basically he said collingwood are dead keen on him, but he says he is very confident fremantle will pip them at the post, says he is a very similar player to matthew pavlich.

Other interesting tidbits:
- Geelong are dead keen on Jake Stringer but the bulldogs will take him with pick 5 or 6.. of this he is certain
- Dockers and eagles are very interested in Kayden or Kamden Macintosh (ive never heard of him) but he expects west coast to take him with 46
- All clubs bar the two western australian clubs, st kilda and collingwood have stated they wont go near dayle garlett
- Oli Wines will fall to pick 8
- st kilda will more than likely take aiden corr with their first pick
- Neither Josh Simpson or Mason Shaw were in his top 25

Having listend to ben robinson, adn it is all subjective, but I dont think that we will take Josh Simpson with pick 17. He doesnt suit a need

Looks like it's down to 3.

Quayle isn't confident Dayle Garlett will even be selected at all. She says St Kilda have already said no to picking him.

Yeah I'd be happy with that. It seems that it would be easier (and less expensive) to grab mids via FA we could actually get 2 very good mids for the price of a good KPF. Decent mids regularly come from later picks and the rookie draft.

Also IMO we have enough quality young mids that will come thru over the next couple of yrs so I'd like all talls.

Pretty much what was said. I think he meant if someone they really want slips in the 1st round they will take him, even if he is not a tall. Hopefully, that doesn't apply to all 3 picks.

This is what was said.
Fremantle will enter Thursday's NAB AFL Draft with picks 17, 37 and 40, and Bond said the club was keen to add young key position talent to its list.

"We're not going to jeopardise the draft to do that, but certainly that's an area that we think some players developing as key forwards/key defenders would really help us in our future," Bond said.

"We'll certainly be looking at that but we still need to bring talent through the door."
