I'm cooling a tad on Wines. Can't quick put my finger on it why

Not been a huge fan myself from the beginning. I know what you mean when you say you can't put your finger on it, he looks a little untidy to me from the outside perspective.

Don't get me wrong, good talent but like you, he is not a front runner to me.

That said, I am a strongly wanting someone who has different strengths than Wines so that may be a massive factor. Was watching the final that Garlett played yesterday. Wowee!

Spewing. I'm keen to see more of Garlett, only seen the little highlights package of him on youtube from last year.

I am sure they will be uploading shortly. I have seen quite a bit of him. Definitely will have people's attention that's for sure.

His performance in a final should have risen him up the rankings.

His last game was in the Prelim loss against East Fremantle on the 16th, he had 10 possessions and kicked 2 goals. Hardly a huge performance. Which game are you watching?

I think his only downfall is his outside game and that IMO is due to playing in the shambles which is the poineers and having no chance at all to play outside .
:thumbsu: Like :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:

Did you ever even watch the Pios?

Why did he have no chance to play outside?

With Stringer, Chisari, Walls, Donehue, Heavyside, Byrne, Lanyon and Clyne their strength was inside midfielders.

They needed players who could go outside and kick the footy. To be honest, it's not Ollie's game.

Yes , because without him inside they couldn't win inside footy , your opinion but from
what I seen I disagree .

Yep, given a choice of 2 (I know we'll have more than that) I would now prefer Vlastuin to Wines at 9.

I wonder if by some chance we got 24 whether we'd hold on Vlastuin and hope for a second chance.

I doubt it

Cloke staying is good. No compo pick

Looking likely that Saints will get another first rounder from Goddard. Hope he stays

I haven't seen footage of wines or Vlastuin but my guess is they will go for whoever is the harder nut if their skill level, potential is similar (in the mould of Dimma) that will be the decider for me and of course the clubs other criteria. I trust those in the recruiting dept to make the best call. Whichever way you look at it exciting times for the RFC. :thumbsu:

His nickname is tigga

Do you mean already UTG or one you'd like for him. Cos if it's the nick name already, just maybe an owman for us.

didnt know draft camp tested how hard your nuts are these days - and I thought the finger up the quoit from the doc in a few years was gunna be bad enough :oops:

Richmond have three pillars of recruiting. Do the players compete? Can the players kick the ball and have good decision making? Have they got good character?

Vlastuin certainly competes, his attack on the ball is reminiscent to Morris. He can certainly kick the ball and he instinctively hand balls into space (Reminds me of Marc Murphy.) He was named captain of Vic Metro and has never been cited for any off-field problems.

For me is a great fit for the club. He is a utility too, considering how he can play off the half-back line.
