I wouldnt want to give up picks #29 #31 + Post for #15 - 15 is not that crash hot !!

If there is interest in Post from any club,I would prefer to bundle him up with pick 50/68 to get another in the 20-30 range after the top 10 its pretty equal untill about 30.

Just have a look at the mock draft on our board, alot of quality there until 30

Not sure , I might consider if calling the shots.

Honestly, I have to watch some of these guys online to make any assessment as the majority of candidates, I confess, simply haven't seen so really I am clueless for 2012 draft atm

Kennedy would be great for Richmond. Reading his profile he is meant to possess elite speed, a thumping kick and can play inside and outside. If he was taller he would go a lot earlier probably. He would be that ideal replacement for Foley.
I would also like the Tigers to target Koby Stevens as Tuck's replacement. He is a really good size and is aggressive.

No to both. We aren't interested in Kennedy. I'm not sure of our opinion on Stevens, but from what I've seen of him, big no. He is a good size and aggressive but that would be all of his pros. Dan Jackson v2.

Day 1 of the Draft Combine, the US Basketballer who fronted the media looked like a good character, I still reckon we should rookie one of the basketballers having him as a Naitanui type player going through the middle. Fits our needs of having a backup ruckman.
Not sure on the personality tests but watching the NBA if you're good you're a show-off, Kobe not passing the freakin ball

Pick 9 for tyson
Picks 29, 31 and post for Pick 15
Nahas for pick 24

End up with Tyson, 15, 24, 50

I like the way you think !! Bt

imagine if we ended up with Vlastuin at 15 or if O'Rourke slid to 15 that would be amazing. Hypotheticals sucks but i am wishing this dream comes true.

Wonder if we'll take a punt on one of those US Basketball kids in the rookie draft? Just saw a glimpse of them at the Combine Harvester or whatever the hell it's called -the witches hat challenge is what I call it- on FSN and one of the Aussie kids was saying how awesome their numbers were. Not, as my comments indicate, that I give much creedence to any of that, but international rookies are extra spots and outside the cap no? Worth using the free hit I'd say, as long as it doesn't take up spots we could use on locals like those ungrateful timewasting Irish turds Heslin & O'Reilly did.

in all honesty id be willing to trade pick 9 plus a player or whatever else for tyson, knightmare rates him still about 4 if he was in this years draft, would be so so happy

Where is your source on this. If the Tiges are not interested in Kennedy explain why not and where you have got this detail from. At the U18 champs he had much better stats than many of the players mentioned. he has Xfactor and is a ball magnet. If RFC is not looking at this kid then they are crazy. If he is best available at our pick whatever number, then we should grab him. he is exactly what Richmond needs. Plays midfield and gets his own ball and when playing forward knows how to find the goals. We know he is not tall but takes a good mark and has blistering pace.

I think we have other targets with our first round pick (which hopefully we won't have... welcome Dom Tyson!). I'd imagine we'd surely take Kennedy at 29 if he slid that far, but doubt he will. Then, the club may have a clear knock or ? mark on him, or target a different type of player... time will tell.

No it is not made up jump and neither am I mentioning any names. You don't have to believe me, but I'm sure that posters would rather this information than not have it at all.
I have no problem with you putting your opinion out, however, use IMO unless there is a name or some fact. Even a friend said!

I was told by someone who works at the club that Richmond see Ben Kennedy as a small forward who can pinch hit in the midfield and there isn't much interest on him. Just because I'd rather keep the names disclosed, it doesn't mean that it automatically becomes opinion. If you would like, I'll stop passing on the information I am told onto this board. I'm not like one of those Tradesperts or Deepthroats etc, I am an honest Tiger supporter who is fortunate enough to sometimes hear things.

There are so many youg players mentioned on these threads & depending on who you believe there will be alot of really good players available at our 2nd round selections 29/31

,If there is anybody interested just have a look at the phantom draft we are running at the moment with the kids that have been selected at around our selections.

You must also remember that most ''real recruiters'' will have names that we just have at around 40-50 that could go top 20 which would push the known kids even lower - I wouldnt want to get rid of our lower selections.

Just imagine - We have the chance to get 3 of the top 30 kids available, If anything trade players like Post,McGuane,White,Jackson,Nahas to either get more selections around the 20-25 mark or improve our picks 50/68 to that level...................... Im hoping that we still take 5 kids in the draft

Eric Wallace in top 10 of Standing Vertical Jump and Running Vertical Jump. Looked good in promoting the game and looks like a good character. Nothing to lose in a rookie spot.
Interesting to see that Eric Wallace is now 'addicted' to the sport after watching the grand final. LOL i can't wait till someone fends them off and they start going FOUL!!! WHERE'S THE FOUL!!!
