If Melb give pick 4 for Hogan, I guarantee you that they will take a midfielder with 3.
Hence GWS will take Whitfield, Toumpas and Grundy at 1,2,4.

Can anyone provide detail of how Stringer went at the combine? Details of heights jumped and times run and where those results placed him against peers would be great.

Tested well in the 'GoalKicking' and 'Clean Hands' otherwise he is nowhere to be seen.

I was looking at the results yesterday. I was also interested in Jake. At 18 with some growing to do, he strikes me as the guy that at 9 you might come out with an absolute gem. He would have been No.1 had he not broken his leg. Time is on his side to make a full recovery. I guess it all depends on the type of break and associated soft tissue and joint injury. Our medicos are hopefully all over these things.

Difficult to assess when they only show the top 10 or so in each category. Also interesting that the guys names that have been mentioned for Pick 9, O'Rourke, Wines, Vlaustin, Macrae and even Garlett hardly got a mention. O'Rourke and Wines and 14.4 and 14.3 in the beep, Garlett in the clean hands, Macrae in goal kicking. It would be great to see the complete data set to get a real indication of relative performance

No worries, sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I haven't seen him play too much but he is a fairly tall an solid kid. Same year level as Alex Johnson and dan hannebery, just a late bloomer I suppose. I'm sure vfl watchers and vafa watchers could tell you more.Thanks for the info!

Dont get the Nahas hate... Shane Edwards plays a few good games to finish off the year and all of a sudden Nahas is the new whipping boy. Need i remind you he kicked 34 goals last year.

I don't hate Nahas but he's well behind King and has fewer strings to his bow than Titch.
Nahas is a required player unless we can get a deal to get someone like Tyson to the tigers, he stays.
