Why is that?Nahas for pick 24 for was never a good trade for us.
If Melb give pick 4 for Hogan, I guarantee you that they will take a midfielder with 3.I reckon they'll take Grundy.

They still have #20Sydney have delisted Seaby and McNeil, would be happy to see us rookie both
Nahas for Pick 24 is now also dead because of the Lee trade

Probably right. If Melb give pick 4 for Hogan, I guarantee you that they will take a midfielder with 3.
Hence GWS will take Whitfield, Toumpas and Grundy at 1,2,4.
Can anyone provide detail of how Stringer went at the combine? Details of heights jumped and times run and where those results placed him against peers would be great.
Thanks
I was looking at the results yesterday. I was also interested in Jake. At 18 with some growing to do, he strikes me as the guy that at 9 you might come out with an absolute gem. He would have been No.1 had he not broken his leg. Time is on his side to make a full recovery. I guess it all depends on the type of break and associated soft tissue and joint injury. Our medicos are hopefully all over these things.http://www.afl.com.au/Offseason/DraftCombine/Latestresults/tabid/18439/Default.aspx
Tested well in the 'GoalKicking' and 'Clean Hands' otherwise he is nowhere to be seen.

Thanks for the info!Hi guys, just thought I'd let you know that a bloke by the name of Pat Ambrose is training with you at the moment and was tested in beep test in the last week and he smashed the absolute shit out of it... 16-2. Played for Coburg/Old Xaverians.
No worries, sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I haven't seen him play too much but he is a fairly tall an solid kid. Same year level as Alex Johnson and dan hannebery, just a late bloomer I suppose. I'm sure vfl watchers and vafa watchers could tell you more. Thanks for the info!![]()
oh sounds good. hope he has good skills to match the endurance and we might have a player. cheers for the heads up.Hi guys, just thought I'd let you know that a bloke by the name of Pat Ambrose is training with you at the moment and was tested in beep test in the last week and he smashed the absolute shit out of it... 16-2. Can he play though? Because Matt White can runHi guys, just thought I'd let you know that a bloke by the name of Pat Ambrose is training with you at the moment and was tested in beep test in the last week and he smashed the absolute shit out of it... 16-2. Played for Coburg/Old Xaverians.

Nahas for pick 24 for was never a good trade for us.
He is a well built midfielder/forward who has a fair bit of height and obviously athleticism. Can play but as I said you would have to ask some vfl/vafa watchers to comment further. Can he play though? Because Matt White can run![]()
Im not certain that you will take him, just passing on the info that he is training with you. Check pmHow do you know? I'm glad we have someone under consideration and I thank you for providing this info, i just don't want to have false hope.
I don't hate Nahas but he's well behind King and has fewer strings to his bow than Titch.Dont get the Nahas hate... Shane Edwards plays a few good games to finish off the year and all of a sudden Nahas is the new whipping boy. Need i remind you he kicked 34 goals last year.
Unwarranted hate. He is well ahead of King and has more strings to his bow than Titch (though, yes a left foot is not one of those strings!)
