Henry Schade was last year at 24.

Not saying I know much about this guy, but my point is once it gets mid twenties it starts to get in speculative. Plus 2 years of games and development before they are effective.

I don't understand the nahas hate here. Sure he's not perfect and runs on he's right, be he's hardly deserving of this whipping boy attitude that this board manages to find one player a year. The way if I only read on this forum and never saw a game he's almost as shit as tambling the way he's describe and offered as 'throw in sweetner'.

Dont get the Nahas hate... Shane Edwards plays a few good games to finish off the year and all of a sudden Nahas is the new whipping boy. Need i remind you he kicked 34 goals last year.

Unwarranted hate. He is well ahead of King and has more strings to his bow than Titch (though, yes a left foot is not one of those strings!)
imo nahas has no where near the strings that edwards has. never ever seen nahas take a mark over his shoulders.

Well, yes, it's a little hard so I have watch foxtel :(
:(
Anyways each to their own. I just feel sad for the nahas hate. If he fked up all the time then fair enough.
Mate, having lived interstate myself I feel your pain. As I said, don't hate Nahas, but think he's tradeable and replaceable.

Anyone know if Seaby is any good anymore? He seems a pretty good fit for us if he doesn't mind no playing regularly. Seems like he got be a good back up in case Maric goes down for a number of weeks, I would rather him play for a few weeks than Graham or one of the young blokes.

Could only be an improvement on our current stocks you would think

Nahas is a required player unless we can get a deal to get someone like Tyson to the tigers, he stays.
Hardly limit it to just the Tyson deal, if we get a half decent pick for him then he can go. He's not a core player, he has too many limitations and if he has value at the trade table then he's exactly the type we should be looking to part ways with.

Clurey having exceptional 3klm and beep test results at the combine will only bolster his worth . Still think he has a very good chance of going mud first round . His height and aerobic ability don't come round to often .
Yer I have him top 20. And that was well before his 3k times. Very good KPD who can shut down and rebound. Think he has enough talent to play forward too so comes with some flexibility.

Your good judge Tigs , was equal 4th in the goal kicking , as well as winning the beep and 2nd in the 3klm .
Got a funny feeling his is going to be something special , has battled a little with growth related injuries , but has alot to like about him .

Does anyone know what pick we received for Tambling, if we have used it who did we get also how long can we hold the pick?

Richard Tambling for End of First Round Compo and #47 (Helbig).
Last year we traded the End of First Round Compo for End of Second Round compo (we have until 2015) and #26 (Elton).

So effectively. Tambling for Helbig, Elton and End of Second Round compo.

Hi guys, just thought I'd let you know that a bloke by the name of Pat Ambrose is training with you at the moment and was tested in beep test in the last week and he smashed the absolute shit out of it... 16-2. Played for Coburg/Old Xaverians.
I appreciate that the criteria and conditions may have assisted such a result , but a 16.2 is unbelievable , the combine record is 16.1 IIRC and the best this year was 15.1.

He may be required this year and may even have enough currency to land us a second or third round pick. However by the end of next season when is the next chance we have to trade him , it's very likely he'll have none.
Do not forget Leon Davis was a All Australian only months before he was axed and not picked up.
Smalls with limitations fall off the perch very quickly.

Not quite right. We got #51 (McDonald) and we traded the 1st round compo for #26 and a 2nd round pick right after Port's pick, which we have activated for this draft.

If we can nab a second rounder for him, I'd take it and run. Port got Monfries for pick 48(?) and even though he dives better than most Olympians, I would rate him over Nahas.

Plus you would expect Edwards to play as a permanent small forward next year. Along with Vickery (hopefully fully fit) and one of Cotchin, Martin and Deledio down there, there's more than enough avenues to score.

2[12] Richard Tambling Richmond Adelaide
End of first Round Compensation* pick & Draft pick #47 (Brad Helbig)

31[23] Compensation draft pick (end of first round)* Richmond Gold Coast Draft pick No. 26 (Todd Elton)
Compensation draft pick (second round)

*same pick.

Pretty sure it was Helbig. But you are right that, with further research, the compensation pick is the one we have activated (via Port) this year.

Agreed.

Depends on the trade though. Would happily trade for Tyson (along with pick 9) but wouldn't want to trade for pick 24.

Conca and pick 31 for Tyson and pick 13 ;)

Hmm, that's a good one, and one I'd probably consider. Conca is good, but he has shown as much as Tyson to be honest, and we are getting another first round for a mid 2nd.

We'll have Tyson, 9, 13
We'll lose Conca and 31

I doubt he'd want to leave, he is a WA boy. If he's going anywhere it's back home.
