Some guy(bulldogs supporter) said in Knightmares thread that Taylor Garner has been interview 3 times by us.
Big chance.

Surely they would account for his age being a factor in why his results were better then the rest of combine invitees.
Hmmm. Would be a little disappointed with Garner at 9. I think there's likely to be better talent available. He surely wouldn't be available at our 2nd rounders though. Got me flummoxed

Hopefully we push to get picks 12 and 14 if we are very keen on Garner.
I would be pretty happy with Garner and Vlaunstin.
In some cases his age will be a negative, in some a positive. The fact he broke a record to display his athletic gifts will have no affect on age.
I would have thought that having extra years working in the gym would mean he gets slightly higher results then what he would had he been 18. He'd still get high results but not quite as high.
Towers will be a first round pick. His Combine impressed everyone, clubs started drooling.
Would the Tigers take a risk on the poorly attitude Garlett? Could make it (Cyril or Jetta) or break it for us (Tambling or Clarke brothers). And will our first pick be a Midfielder for sure orrrr?
And now that Graham is gone, I hope that gives us a better chance of drafting one of those American ruckmans. I would be so happy![]()
Honestly from all reports his attitude has changed dramatically after getting kicked out of the AIS seems like a good kid just needs a bit of direction.
I think he wants out of WA. Not to stay there. What's the chances of him being home sick tho, is he happy to play in VIC or does he simply want to stay in the WA? We do need AT LEAST one more indigenous player for the Dream Time game as well as a better culture at the club. If we can not get Garlett, at least get Simpson or something. Don't want like a Relton Roberts or a Troy Taylor situation again lol. We only have half a indigenous player in Edwards right?

THANKS TO KNIGHTMAREAnyone know anything about a kid from W.A called Mason Shaw? 197cm key forward / ruckman who kicked 76 goals last year in the Colts? Is he worth a selection?
Nice, thanks Gun, someone we would look at?THANKS TO KNIGHTMARE
Mason Shaw (WA – KPF)
Height: 197cm, Weight: 82kg, DOB: 15/01/1994
Recruited from: South Fremantle
Style: Kurt Tippett
Player comparison:
Range: 5-35
Profile: Strong marking key forward. Has a presence, marks out in front and can take a contested grab. Had a sensation 2011 season scoring 66 goals which is a great return for the young key forward. Has good accuracy from both general play and set shot attempts. Also Shaw is a serious big game player kicking 7 goals in the grand final which is a big return and shows potential to continue being a big game player into the future. Good finisher around goal and in general play. Endurance very good for a key forward. Has played in the ruck but I most like Shaw as a key forward and see that as the position where he can impose himself on matches most as a big marking target.
Dont think so tbh, I think we will be looking at Mids - Medium fowards with Elton/Griffiths/Astbury/Riewoldt on the listNice, thanks Gun, someone we would look at?
I would say he is too small to be anything more than a small forward, but 174cm is the same as Ben Kennedy and Nathan Hrovat. And both of them will be midfielders. For some reason though, I do think Bonaddio is too small. He just seems to have a slighter build than those other two.
My money is on rookie draft, possibly being overlooked.
