Not sure about that, Mitchell is more a crumber in the ruck scenario whereas Judds strengths are his reach and bursts imo. Mitchells dual side is superior clearly but Judd isn't spectacular overhead either, neither are flawless despite their heroics

this is where the term 'clearances' has muddied waters. im referring to in and under packs and getting it too the runners on the outside. imo mitchell is better at that while judd can do this but is more the get this from this type of player and clear away from a stoppage. this why mitchell was referred as the extractor. i guess it comes down to your own definition.

Knightmare had him at 2 to start the year. Had injuries. Very even draft as evidenced by the apparent shift to GWS taking Menzel and Plowman at 2 & 3. Everyone will rate the players differently. And let's be honest Wines going to Melbourne first round doesn't make him highly rated. Just means he's a better than 50/50 chance of being a dud and traded for pick 80 in 5 years time.

O'Rourke the only query is if he can find a position. He's also very skinny. He's better skilled than Vlastuin so that's the appeal of him. He is an elite kick of the footy.

Vlastuin has Wines ball-winning and very good skills for his role.

He was earlier in the year. Had an ankle injury at the champs and played mostly off half back rather than in the guts where he should have. If he'd played in the middle I reckon he would be very hot property right about now.

Vlastuin got more than 18 possessions twice in 10 TAC games this year, O'Rourke in 10 times in 11 games. I would pick O'Rourke first without hesitation. He's a better footballer IMO.

In fairness to Vlastuin he's been injured and played out of position this year. O'Rourke should have had more ball playing as a midfielder.

A lot of clubs will rue this mistake. They will cry about how many draft picks they have, but mistakes like this serves the clubs right. Grundy at 12? For real? Some recruiters need heads checked and the KISS principle applied.
