got the sun on the way to work looked at their draft , they have kennedy, grundy, lonergan all going to the pies open the car door spewed my guts out , it made me take a sicky f@#ken.

Any way you look at it they have had an amazing off season, really grinds my gears

Physically developed already!

I rate this kid and would be gutted if he becomes a premier Mid in a few years and we let him slip!

Just gotta put your hands up and suck it up that the Pies didn't friggin well in trade week. Got rid of some dead wood - and picked up 3 very nice first round picks.

Well there really isn't much we can do.
They did fantastic during trade/free agency period and it is a credit to them.
But Grundy sliding all the way to them? That's just luck.

Strange.

It's weird over the past couple of days I have gone quite cold on Vlastuin after being extremely keen on him the whole lead up to tonight. I think this has come about due to potentially being able to nab Menzel or Grundy. We must in my opinion pull the trigger if either of these two if still there.

I am also very intrigued by our second rounders I believe there will be a slider but who we cannot quite tell, maybe Garner or Kennedy. However I am still very confident that we can still pick up some quality kids with 31 and 33.

My ideal outcome for tonight;

9. Grundy/Menzel
31. Thurlow
33. Atkins
42. Pongracic

Can't wait!

Surely Menzel is too big a risk. His brother has done both his knees, and he hasn't even been drafted yet and his knees look cooked.

Can't see him being able to get a full career out of his body.

In fairness to Menzel of this draft, his 2 knee injuries both had someone falling across his knee rather than it just going when he lands (like his brother) Think about Astbury when the Swans guy smashed into his knee, if someone does that again this year and he misses about 5 weeks would we say he's got dodgy knees?
