Well i am not at all confident about that fact but if he does fall to our pick i do think we should take a risk, draft him and hope that our culture can turn him around because the kid has a lot of skill (a lot).

Forgot it is or first rounder. We can do whatever we want.

As I said a bit earlier if we don't draft him at 22 I won't be too surprised or concerned. If he astonishingly makes it to 45 and we don't pick him it is close to Jack Darling-level incompetence.
I'm torn, I want, but at the same time, two of our bigger busts in Vesz and Johnston recently have come from the "talented, but not right attitude" mould.

SF, what should I think?

Emma Quayle thinks we're going to pick Mason Wood (I'm still hoping for either Lonergan, Kennedy or taking a chance on Garlett).
Im hoping for Mason just seems like a good kid. Great hands and freakish ability

It is pick 45, he'd be the most talented player there by a vast distance, though there is risk with him delivering you could say that about most of the draft. Vesz and Johnston were both first rounders (while I still think Johnston has some potential, he is arguably the worst draft pick in our history based on his return for the Swans. The 2008 draft produced very good players all the way down to the 40s, 50s and 60s and our entire payoff was Hannebery, Johnston and Heath)

TLDR: Guy is a massive tool but he's a lot more talented than anyone else who'll be available late in the draft.

I hope Tim Membrey gets to our pick. Exactly what we need I reckon. Strong physical presence up forward....could take over from goodsey up forward when he retires. I think he would really add another dimension to our forward line. Strong mark to, would compliment sammy Reid well!

OH DEAR GOD I HOPE THIS HAPPENS!!!!

Mason Wood pretty much oozes talent.. And would be a great addition to our forward line once he develops a little.

Not to mention he was a Geelong Falcon and their record in the draft is amazing.

I think the two most impressive assets he has are his speed off the mark (Would be faster than nearly every key defender in the competition off the first 5-10 metres), And his body work... Has a bit of a knack to knock bigger bodies off balance and just grab the ball out of midair in front of them. (Doesn't have a bad work ethic either).

Unfortunately I see him going to either Geelong or Collingwood before us. (Have him rated between 14-20)

I've been off the grid a bit, but has Tippett nominated for tonight? Any chance of taking him, or waiting until PSD?
He's nominated for the PSD only, but is still trying to get delisted

Probably of all the players that potentially may be available at #22, he and Kennedy would be the two I'd most like to avoid. :)

IMO both will be found out at AFL level.

Membrey just seems like freos Mayne to me, albeit a lot slower without that gun running that Mayne is known for.

Sigh, not a fan of what I've seen of Towers, ah well. Grundy at 18, **** some clubs are stupid.
