Masten walking to his car just speaking about the injury. Still waiting on scans to see if he needs surgery but was talking fine and says right for rd 1 either way

Got hit in the throat by a footy during the final against Adelaide. Went off the ground, came back on but has been struggling to talk and eat. Will be right for round one.

Hopefully my WCE Pulse app is spinning shit to me!

I knew that he had a dodgy throat and isn't flying, but hopefully he can come up.

What's this i hear Shuey on crutches? Whats the story? will he play round 1?

We better not have another season of late withdrawals, because that really got annoying last year.

Hey Guys. I was wondering where is Andrew Strijk? Is he currently injured or just not in the teams best 22? With Hill likely to be LeCras replacement and Nicoski out for a while, can Strijk take Nicoski spot and play that HFF type role? He was great in 2010. Thanks heaps. :)

I'm presuming he's injured since he didn't play any NAB cup and while he has the talent to be best 22 I don't think he's in the ball park for that at the moment. Look elsewhere.

Strijk played for West Perth last w/end and whilst acceptable certainly didnt dominate.

Actually he must be frustrating for WC given he has all the tools to be a very good player, but he is missing that certain ingredient you need to succeed which is generally found between the ears.

I might be wrong but didn't he have some issues with a irregular heart beat last year?

Striijk had minor heart surgery at the end of last season and this season would be a trial and see season , most likely in the WAFL I would imagine . Although he says that he is 100 % okay !

Hope he is ok. Wish him all the best. Thanks for the info guys. :thumbsu:
