I might have this totally wrong, but...

Wasn't Neville Fields the guy we traded for Neale Daniher, which in turn allowed us to get the rest of the Daniher's in a coup that has kept on giving?

If so, I find it highly amusing and remarkable that we could then be getting a Fields and a Daniher this year. If that is indeed the case surely the Fields trade was the best trade ever made by anybody, ever, in the history of the universe

Actually "Nifty" Neville Fields was traded to South for Terry and Neale Daniher.....At the time many bomber fans were pissed off because Neville fields was a class centreman with a booming left foot...We got Nifty back a few years later but he was a bit older by that stage and not nearly as classy....
