How old is Ben Duscher? and how tall? And whats his strength inside or outside mid? Also whats his star sign...?
He's 25.
Listed at 186 and 85 kegs.
Good Inside player, not a clearance machine but he's quite strong over the ball.
Gets a bit of the ball on the outside as well, not because he's quick, but he just runs to the right spots.
Skills are pretty good without being amazing, both by hand and foot. Decision making excellent.
Strong over head mark for his size, and knows where the goals are.

Bit hard to think of a comparison actually. I'll get back to you

Also star sign is libra

EDIT: as far as a style comparison goes I've settled on a cross between Luke Hodge (leadership, game sense and kicking) and Paul Chapman (strength, goal sense and hands) with a hint of the old school about him (black boots, crooked nose and shaggy hair).

Zahaa

I will add three other attributes

- clean ball handler - actually very clean
- good side step
- good in heavy traffic

It's more what he does with it, he has telling touches. But would probably average close to 25 a game at a guess.

cheers zaka, libra...so hes a fiesty one. coll aint gonna give up wellingham easily. probs only for a ruckman
Discussion on the collingwood board always seems to come back to wellers for a ruckman. I'd want wellingham and something else if we were to give up bellchambers.

Yeah, i feel like Bellchambers has a higher ceiling (figuratively and literally) then Wellingham. But i cant see us shopping TB. And if we did we could probably get a better deal, probs involving Caddy or something.

Back to Koby Stevens...on the Eagles board there is a lot of talk about wanting to keep him, as they rate him, some have said his endurance doesn't suit Subi, but are resigned to the fact that he's going, I haven't seen a lot of him so can't really comment, with Ash Smith a chance to leave, the Eagles could potentially have 4 picks in the first 40 or so?
If Ash Smith's a chance to leave, I'd be quite interested.

he's just one of those guys who can pull a team over the line with a special effort when its needed. Like hird used to do, hodge.. theres a few of them around... in a clutch they can do the special thing to get you over the line.

I'll play with the Jetta thing......

If Hille re-signs, Jetta and TBell for Wellingham and Goldsack.

Let Monfries go to Adelaide if he so wants, Goldsack can fill his role which he's done well this season at Collingwood. He can also fill a hole down back if needed.

We'd then need to look into getting someone like Hannath from Central Districts as a backup ruckman who should be able to fill the void left when Hille goes in 12 months, plus rookie another ruckman. It'd also make Ryder number 1 ruckman which he desperately wants.

Give Colyer a shot on a flank or in a pocket to replace Jetta or, if we retain him, Reimers.

Just a thought.

You don't give away a good young ruckman for just decent, mid-20s players.
TBell would need someone ****en' A-grade, or two bloody early picks.

I seem to recall we gave away an A-grader in Salmon in return for 2 younguns. I thought we lost out on the trade at the time but it worked out alright.

I see it as a downgrade on TBell and an upgrade on Jetta (although a different player to Jetta).

If we were to give away TBell and Jetta to Collingwood, who would you want assuming Wellingham was 1 of the players we're getting, or are you saying an early draft pick at minimum as well?

I have said many many many pages ago I predict we'll do sweet FA in trade week but I am just throwing things around to avoid doing work for as long as possible and see what options get thrown back.

As I said, a good YOUNG ruckman....
Salmon was traded at 30-31.
Not quite the same.

Collingwood have 2 massive holes (ruck & FF), which hold them back from contending over the next 5 years. To remedy either, and give them a massive leg-up, we'd need SERIOUS compensation.

As I've said - a genuine A-grader, or tell them to get us a top 5-10 pick somehow.

I don't think we'll touch any of the big-ticket trades. Wouldn't make sense, for us. But I think we might tie a few nice little deals up regardless.

A lot of talk about jetta around bigfooty and debating hes role and if we need him or not, curious to know if we did trade him off what could we get straight swap for a young player such as gysberts or Stevens , or possibly send him to WA jetta and exchange of second round picks for freos or west coasts first pick?
Would they take such a deal that may help us snag caddy ?
Hmmm..... possibly. Particularly Freo.
