Id like us to delist one of Dyson or Prismall the later preferably if we think we are a genuine chance to get Jacobs at 35 and dont have the room in the cap atm for him. Just gives us added flexability and opens our options ever so slightly.

he only looked good because the rest of the team also looked good i have never seen him play well in a cose game or when we are struggling.

He is definitely not in our best 22 maybe someone else's.
Didn't watch ANZAC Day 2009?

IIRC he was quite good on Anzac Day and IIRC that was a close game!

Emma Quayle told me that Essendon are massively into Rory Atkins and were a big chance to get him too. Other than being an inside mid that is playing forward, anyone else know much about him. Apparently went missing this year so could slip through to our first live pick.

Take it you didn't watch ANZAC Day 2009 then...

If i was a bookie id have him favourite at about $7

FWIW i see much more I.Smith in him than i do in Towers. Bit of Kade Simpson about him.

i was at anzac day 09 sitting with my fellow bombers members but the funny things about all of your replies is that you all keep mentioning one game how long has he been at the club and all of you base your arguments on one game. Yes i remember the goal from the boundary and i probably cheered more for him than anyone else but 3 years down the track he has done nothing to warrant keeping his spot on the list.

As big as Anzac day is, it is just one game it does not give you the right to waste a spot on a teams list just because you played well one day.
Example - Mark McGough from Collingwood. Where is he now after debouting in the anzac day clash against us and winning the anzac day medal. What country club is he at now?????????????

Both Perth games in 2009, when we got bent over.

He was our best in one of them, and decent in the other.

Every argument you have put up againt Dyson you have been given examples of to knock your obvious hatred of Dyson down.

Stop putting up silly arguments and say you Hate Dyson and be done with it...

Im guessing Pyke from Swans wouldnt get a game with you because he aint a superstar, never stand up when the game is their to be won. Rhyce Shaw, after Collingwood should never have played AFL again....

Silly stuff really.

I think we've done well this year to get rid of enough dead wood, Dyson is fine and he proved that until injury hampered him half way through the year, enough said...

Dyson's in our bottom 1/4 of the list. Hence why he's up for debate every year, they tend to only give him one year contracts.
One of these years, he won't make the cut. And that will be fine, in a way it will be a sign of progress. But it doesn't mean he's a dud. He's just not great.

ok i do not hate ricky dyson but i am entitled to my opinion just like everyone else on here. In my Opinion he is not worthy of keeping his spot on our list. He has been there long enough and in my eyes has not done enough to warrant getting another contract. I would have much preferred to keep lonergan who In my opinion is a much better player than dyson. But i am sure that some people will disagree. This is my opinon and none of you have given an argument that has changed my mind say what you like but i still feel he should be gone.

I'm not sure that anyone will lose sleep over not being able to convince you that Dyson has done enough to warrant a spot because as, based on your clearly incorrect opinion, there is no prospect of changing your mind.

When you play the "opinion" card you're only using it to be entitled to be wrong. I'm not sure why anyone needs to be allowed their opinion in these circumstances.

If you want some sort of objective indicator of whether Dyson has done enough to remain on the list you need't look any further than the fact that instead of cutting him we are giving him a final opportunity to earn a spot. The same opportunity was not given to Reimers or Lonergan. It seems to be a very solid indicator that what has been identified as Dyson's really good form of 2012 cannot be explained away in the way you've tried.

You're definitely entitled to your opinion, i dont mind that you dont like Dyson but you keep justifying your dislike on facts the are incorrect.

He stood up last year and played some really good footy until he got injured like most of them.
He has stood up in close games, numerous examples have been given
and not every player on a clubs list performs week in week out and that includes players from premiership teams.
Does he have a role? we need outside run and players who can kick, he ticks those boxes ATM

We got rid of Jam tim Lonergan and Slattery, be content for the moment.

Kade Simpson with a better inside game is a pretty spot on comparison for mine
