Like I said in your thread, it's extremely unlikely that he will be delisted. Has showed far more this year as a second ruck option that he did last year. Definite starting 22 for mine now that he can do his around the ground stuff.

His second and third efforts around the ruck are very good. Love that about his work-rate. :thumbsu:

Not sure if true or not, but Silvagni might be on the outer with Freo.

If so, I really hope we make a play for him. I realize we've picked up Warnock, but Silvagni is someone I really rate. It could also let us free Bock to go forward far more often.

Funny you mention Silvagni, he played at Metricon last week for Claremont in the Foxtel Cup.

Decent article page 65 in todays Courier Mail dedicated entirely to Suns list management. Written by Andrew Hamilton so he doesnt know more than us but worth a read anyway. A bit harsh, he puts Sam Iles in the delist category, wont happen. Also, as expected he 'guarantees' Caddy is leaving. I am glad to see him leave, either want a top 20 pick or a in 22-26 year age group.

He has the following as trade bait:

Caddy, Weller, Dixon, Hickey, Nicholls, Jolly (no gorringe)

Delist:

Fraser, Iles, Magin, Moss (obviously didnt go into complete detail here)

Hamo knows far, far less than us. His lack of knowledge about the Suns list is staggering, which is very much highlighted there.

Yes, let's delist Iles. The guy probably in our top 3 for the B&F.

Let's trade Hickey and Dixon, who have both showed this year that they are worth extensions. Hickey is the best guy we have at taking contested grabs over 6'3. Dixon was great for us in the ruck before he went down. May not win the tap, but his second efforts means he transforms into another mid in there.

Caddy he's correct on, Jolly and Nicholls too. Fraser, Magin and Moss probably aren't too far behind, but all he's probably done there is look at our list and find the names that he hasn't heard before.

How did Silvagni go for Claremont, bballscout?

Claremont are the WAFLs top team and they pumped our current wooden spooners Mt Gravatt. Stats are on AFL website, Silvagni seemed to play half back on no one of note. 18 touches, 7 marks, 15 kicks.

Ball didnt go down there alot so not a bad stat line. Ryan Neates also played who is on the West Coast list and has played a bit of AFL. He was BOG for mine, albeit I was only watching on fox.

Was watching North v Adelaide last night and Sean McKernan's name came up
I wonder if he's worth a stab rather than Tippett..should come cheaper and you'd think with the way Adelaide's forward line is shaping up with 2 talls his opportunities will be limited

Id take Jesse White over McKernan. He's a Qlder and a big body who will free up space for our small forwards. Off contract also and rumoured to be up for trade, relatively cheap.

Is this the same Jesse White who is struggling for the Swans at 2s level? Not sure I would like him on the list, to be honest. Swans have thrown him into the midfield now in hopes of sparking something. Would rather have a Lynch/Day/Dixon combo up there. Lynch/Day with 40 odd games into them come the end of the year.

He just has not come on. Rookie option maybe?

I think McKernan has the potential to be more than just a fringe player
The argument would be whether or not he's that much further advanced than our young talls at this stage so would it be any use offering up much for him

Was referring more to Jesse White. I watched most of the game yesterday, and still need to see more of McKernan :) At this stage though it would be no with Lynch, Day, Dixon ahead I would think

Sam Iles - most underrated player in the AFL. Been saying it all year. If he does get delisted, another club will surely laugh at us and snap him up. GWS at the very least would love him.

Just on Caddy..

What is he worth to the suns?

If he was keen on returning to VIC, would Geelong's first round comp pick do the job?

I would. I would put him at a mid-late first rounder at this stage.

Though if he finishes the season strongly, and he is definitely getting better, I'd be more inclined on the mid first round.

I would think something in the 10-15 draft pick range? Would be a straight swap.

What about a Taylor Hunt at Geelong? Young only played a handful of games, could be a welcome addition?

Would do the Hunt trade. Certainly showing good stuff right now.

10-15 probably a bit steep. I would go 15-20.
