If it was any brand other than Batman I'd be livid. Hope this isn't the start of a trend, but as a once-off the jersey looks superb.

Can't say i'm a real fan of changing a teams strip for the sake of a film.

For those who haven't seen it this is how you whore out a teams strip

blog-super-vitoria1.jpg

Rather than the standard pitchside advertising hoarding or square-inch advert in the match programme, Brazilian Serie B side Vitoria have conjured up an ingenious way of promoting the club’s blood donation campaign.
Nicknamed the ‘Red and Blacks’, there’s no prizes for guessing what colours Vitoria usually play in. However, ahead of the new season, the club have ‘drained’ the red hoops from their home strip in a bid to raise awareness and get their fans to donate blood for transfusions and the like.
The red hoops on the home shirt will then be replaced one-by-one as the level of blood donated rises, until the shirt is eventually restored to it’s former glory when the target is met. As we said, ingenious…

You would be livid because the club is making money?

This is exactly what the Storm need to do. Engage the community.

No - I just don't like the idea of changing the strip every time a sponsor is willing to pony up some cash (apart from adding the odd logo - i.e. the Programmed sponsorship).

The team have already gone through five different shirts in the regular season this year - home, away, heritage, battle and Batman. I feel like that's enough.

Only making 500 so I wouldn't be too fussed. If it's making the club money then I'm all for it.

The calm before the Storm.

Chambers returning is great. Slater back next week.

Our premiership charge starts now.

Got some bad news, Slater's not playing next week unfortunately...
I'm wild with that Q'ld Origin doctor who let him back on the field when he first hurt his knee in Origin II, I truly believe it aggravated his injury.

Having Chambers back is good news, hopefully he can remain on the field and his health keeps improving.
Now all we need is O'Neill to recover from his groin injury, Duffie from his shoulder and Vave from his broken foot and we MIGHT get back on track.
