Has anyone ever gone threw the records of Australian sport and compared their record at home with Casey Stoners record in the AGP?

We know you couldn't get Bradman out in Adelaide or a decent score off Warne at the SCG.

What about in motorsport the world over? Senna brained them at monaco, but that wasn't his home GP, same as Brock at Mt panorama.

Actually I forgot about Doohan, you only beat him if his leg was broke or he couldn't be bothered.

I didn't mean attending the race, I meant replacing Spies.
Oh lmao. Woosh - straight over my head. I wish mate. I would love to do it, but ill have to start at a lower grade unfortunately. And get people to pay for me :p

Nup. I'm sure there are some Aussie tennis players that won the Aus open 10 times, in the 50s/60s.

Prost is a 6 time French GP winner. Rossi has won the Italian Motogp 7 times (on the trot as well), plus two more at Misano.

Or if he did a howler (like in 97), or if Criville runs into him (like in 96), or if Wayne Rainey was around (who's better than him).

I gather that's the first time ever that there's been an Aussie on the podium in all 3 series on the same day.
In fact apart from West & Stoner I can't think of another Aussie to finish on the podium in the 2 lower classes.
Garry McCoy perhaps ?

What a day for Aussie motorcycling. The guy is as good as anyone ive seen in the 20 odd years ive watched the sport.

That was a great way to go out in front of his fans.

West & Sissis did us proud also :thumbsu:

Shame about Miller jump starting the only low point for Australia.

Well done Casey and congratulations on your career. Shame it couldnt have been a world title, but youve got out of the sport while youre still alive and not in a wheelchair.

What a weekend! Sissis, West and Casey! Was awesome to be there! Cheers for the info on viewing Klynt managed to see most of them on Saturday but settled for a spot off the straight going around the first bend for Sundays races, so i could see them coming down the straight then off onto the back of the circuit. Was Crazy seeing them live! They really do have balls of steel, their talent is unquestionable! Just watched the replays on TV and the real downer was Dani going down! Would have been a lot more entertaining if him and Jorge battled it out. Now really looking foward too (or not) seeing Casey's last race. Let's go out with a win!
