It's easy to forget that Laids is only 22, he shows great leadership for a bloke his age.

I reckon he will improve again this season and take his game to a whole new level.

Totally agree with this, 22 and less than 30 games. Will be very very good.

Made a boozy bet recently with an Arsendon loudmouth who was questioning the strength of our backline. Beyond Jamo he said they were all shite, laughed when I put up Laids as rock solid. After too many pots I screamed gun and claimed he'd make it to 200 games at the Baggers.

My maths might be crap, but I know for sure we can rest easy knowing he will be making life difficult for opposition forwards for years to come.

I think you need to do your maths again aph.
There are 23 rounds this season and if murphy plays all of them he will reach 150 first week of finals not prelim/gf.

if he misses 1 or 2 games (say we rest him) he may have his 150 in the prelim/gf (if we make it that far)

Apparently Pat McCarthy has grown a few centimetres since we drafted him - is now pretty close to if not taller than 200cms, can anyone confirm this?

There are 23 rounds this year but we have a bye so we still only play 22 games.

126 + 22 = 148

Finish Top 4 & a win in the 1st week of finals = 149

So Prelim it is for Murphy's 150th.
