Well that's it really.IMO, it's the best list of assembled youth since the early 90's and depth wise it is arguably better.
However, will the same calibre of top end talent emerge from this group?
This remains to be seen. We need a top quality young forward to step up.
We can say that Swallow, Harvey, Goldy, Dish and Wellsy are probably our 5 best players currently and are a pretty decent top group however we to really push on we need to have a number of the younger players rival and hopefully surpass them. To date we have only seen glimpses of top end talent from Ziebell, Bastinac, Cunnington, Wright, Harper, Black etc. and it is from the guys in this age group that we need the next stars of the game to emerge. If they can elevate their games to another level then, with the likes of Adams, Edwards, Narni and Hunter still performing, we become a daunting prospect.
The list is in great shape depth wise looking at this list:
Best 22:
McMahon - Grima - Thompson
Macmillan - Hansen - Firitto
Wells - Swallow - Atley
Wright - Pedersen - Adams
Thomas - Petrie - Edwards
Goldstein - Ziebell - Cunnington
Bastinac - Harvey - Greenwood
Harper
